@19:30 is the single most sickest moment in almost all of the jams existing sheeesh just downright mind blowing that timing with the effects and how it came together with the sax

Camera dude the real mvp indeed !! 😀 👌 Thank you so much for sharing all these videos here !! 🙏 🙏 Such an amazing group of people and they are really pushing the boundaries of jazz that it's absolutely amazing to be able to watch them play live ! Any chance you are planning to go to the shows with Chris Dave / Robert Glasper / Derrick Hodge in 30/31th Oct ? I would kill to have have the recordings of that shows - I was even considering coming to NYC just for those, but it's just so prohibitely expensive to come to NYC from Europe just for a couple of shows 😞 I'd even consider covering some of your costs if you have a Patreon page etc. if you have plans to go - so please let me know, and thanks for uploading all of these videos again !!! 🙏

@@cemozen you’re so welcome. I would love to go to some of the ones coming up. Might go to one with quest love on drums. I will try to take some videos of what shows I do manage to go to. Also going to see Kokoroko on Sunday. Pumped for that.

36:26 - 36:30 ... is that Justin’s left hand?
@evanpragliola49475 жыл бұрын
yeah its just his left hand on the snare but hes alternating between that and bass drum insanely fast. basically a one handed roll, LK (L=left hand K=Kick drum) LKLKLKLKLK really fast while playing the pattern on the ride, but also its not consistenlty LKLKLKLKLK hes playing alot of ghost notes and accents on the snare, also while alternating between the kick, while doing all that busy stuff on the high hat. hes a mad man
