Today's Video is Part 2 from Scrappy Patches. Last week I showed you how I created the cloth to make this NeedleBook. If you haven't watched last week, you might want to watch that first. There is a Pt 3 to this series, A Bonus Video, and because the whole thing morphed it will be easier if you just watch it.
You might also want to watch, I Struggle, Do YOU?
The videos all go together but for simplicity sake I separated them out.

I really appreciate your ability to describe your process, especially in such a joyful way. The thought of me trying to explain to anyone how I put a quilt top together is quite unappealing, although it probably wouldn’t be as bad as I imagine!

I use small binder clips to hold my thread in place so not to get pulled through the binder. paper clips work if you do it from the side of the clip.

Hi Jeri, loved your video. I'm just setting out to run my first proper workshop. Your comment that you're doing it for friends was just what I needed. Remembering to breathe, finding words, slowing down. I know I can do it, I just have to tell myself. Thank you, Valerie .

Oh Valerie, I wonder how that went!? I love teaching live, I used to own a bead shop and did classes all the time, it was my favorite thing to do and I miss that. Am hoping to do it this summer. Thanks for watching! 🩷

Wonderful video don't listen to the negatives! Art is what "we" like. I am starting the circle/dot in a year. I find yours so pleasing to "my" eye 😉! My husband said. .oh that's nice!!😂 I had to laugh. Everyone has their own taste! I love slow stitching. Please keep inspiring us!!! XOXO

When I’m stitching I have to remind myself that stitching is a art form and art is what we make to please our eye and is never perfect. I’ve learned to let go of the perfection and enjoy the process! I do have to ask anout the piece in the background of your videos with the circles. I always look for a slo stitch project to do daily at the beginning of each year as a daily meditation and love doing circles. So maybe this will be my 2025 one. Thank you for sharing!

I agree, perfection is overrated! I am planning on doing something with the circles, stay tuned. 🩷
