I always looked at ice powers as stealing kinetic energy, rather than creating low temperatures. It breaks the second law of thermodynamics, but if you accept that it isn’t absolute, then it makes most of the feast actually plausible. There isn’t a limit on movement of energy, only problem is the direction and without the 2T law you don’t freeze person by “touching” him with something very cold (which would hurt the ice user as well) but just a massive energy flow. It would even work great with Todoroki’s powers so he steals energy to freeze stuff and then releases it as heat.
@timothyjacksondrake44543 жыл бұрын

Since most anime characters tend to have a inner vessel for energy, removing the energy shouldn't be too hard. The only limitation they would have would be the release of this energy, but that could go to unfreeze what was frozen without using heat.

The thing is ice powers would work for a character like iceman, its said that he doesn't create ice as we know it. He changes atoms on a molecular level into ice technically making him have the ability to manipulate molecules Also I want to add that Deadpool healing factor is not only a mutant power but also magic having been cursed by Thanos as to have a stronger healing factor and the ability to not die Also adding to the wings aspect of the video. Bees shouldn't be able to fly using their wings because of their body size and mass and yet they can, we truly don't know if we could fly with proportions like this I'm also going to add that almost every character with super strength has super durability, take it luke cage who gets super strength directly from his super durability

The story about bees not being able to due to their body size and wings being too small is not accurate as the story which it comes from was done with back of the napkin calculations and due to the small size of bees air acts more like a fluid. Also for Super Strength: the superhero would almost always need to be fully grounded to get anything done. Having muscles that act X times stronger than normal wouldn't matter much if you they have next to 0 leverage on the object or person that they're moving/hitting. The hulk in mid-air is theoretically weak as hell, although a character such as superman could generate such leverage with enough force in their flight, assuming they can fly that precisely and that it is either a propulsion or operates within ultra-fixed points in space.

My top 5 worst: 5: Super Sonic Scream (Because you will never be able to ever speak without ending in catastrophic results, just like Black Bolt) 4: Telepathy (Because the human mind can not possibly comprehend so much information and power, causing terrible migraines) 3: Time Travel (One minor little mistake while time traveling could result in the end of the world, just watch Back to the Future or The Flash) 2: Immortality (While not dying is extremely powerful and useful, outliving your loved ones would be terrible, imagine living without family or friends, it could cause depression or cause you to go crazy) 1: Senses (It's just useless, what could you do in a fight with this power, see someone to death... exactly)

I would like to note that in the example of Wolverine regrowing his whole body from his skeleton he was technically immortal because he kept getting into fights with Death and winning. This was eventually changed but at the time of the example he was literally too stubborn to die.

I like how the thumbnail is super powers that would work in real life but the title says powers that would suck in real life.

You know whats acc annoying. I creadted this character that was half fire and half ice. I called him him Fire-Icer. I asked this kid, who can draw, at my school if she could redraw it in her art style, and she did but while she was drawing she laughed and said this could easily be a character from my hero acadamia. It just ticks me off.

If I could have Superpowers from 5 characters, they would be 1.) Vergil (Demonic Magic/Physiology) 2.) Ryu Hayabusa (Divine Dragon Magic & Ki Control 3.) Vegeta & Gohan (Saiyan Physiology/ Ki Control) 4.) Zoom (Speed Force) 5.) Darkseid (Omega Force)

I knew most of the facts in this video already. And the cool thing is, you singled out the two powers that I thought I would choose to have, if given the chance. Healing and Magnetic powers. Because those two would be the ones most useful in our reality. The additional info about the different metals was very nice, as some of it I didn't know. I knew some of the metals were non magnetic, but not that so many aren't magnetic. So having a healing factor and carrying a lot of food with me + magnetic powers and some decent amount of iron, so I am not too heavily packed. That would be my strategy.

It's also kinda the same for fire power's, organic material can't withstand that much heat, you'd burn yourself way before you could ever kill someone with the power, great party trick though.
@capesword1113 жыл бұрын
That's actually pretty awesome. I don't see the regeneration ability as a form of invulnerability, so I enjoyed watching it picked apart. The other powers' explanations were good too.

Also Super speed would cause nukes every time you run, since the fast speed would heat up the air around you and if you go really fast the atoms in the air will be too energized

You know a good way to circumvent the limitations of super healing would be to put through psychically teleporting all of the mass that was damaged back in place just putting yourself back together

This is your channel's 1st ever that I watched. Although I'm a huge superhero/superheroines fanboi I do agree with all your pointers in the video. I also have a suggestion about "Fire Powers" It would be very difficult to breathe with it. I mean, If your whole body is in a burning state, like Human Torch(from Fantastic 4), it would be next to impossible to breathe as all the O2 around your body will be used up in burning. They might die out of suffocation.

All of these would still be useful in real life except wings

In the Incredible Hulk (2008) Bruce actually falls from a helicopter that's pretty high up. He didn't turn into the hulk and ended up hiting the ground and presumably dying. But after he still turned into the hulk meaning that Bruce is technically immortal, and the comics back this up.

Hulk's jumps are covered by his powers. He adapts to whatever environment he's in. Magneto's powers allow him to generate magnetic fields, allowing him to create magnetic properties in metals that are normally non-ferrous.

I would use Ice power to cold my drinks. I'm not a super hero so I won't have Wolverine situations so my healing factor won't have lot of works to do. Wing...I have nothing to say about wings but it'll be badass to have that. Super Strengh : I just need enough strengh to lift object like if they were ten times lighter and punch hard in skulls. Magnetism : I'll still take it, I think could demagnetise some credit card.
@danieladowell50253 жыл бұрын
by controlling fero-magnetism you could lift any material although making even weak amounts of fero-magnetism is very hard

The thing with the Hulk is (no pun intended), he has space survivability, at least in the comic, so he can survive jumping into the orbit.

Another thing about super strength is you would need to weigh an insane amount as well or whenever you tried to use something extremely heavy it would quickly throw you off balance. For example as a regular human if you try to swing a wooden chair around you’ll quickly notice that while you weigh much more than the chair when you try to swing it around you can feel the weight of the chair throwing you around with it. Thus if you were to try it to attack someone with something extremely heavy swinging or throwing you would be quickly swept right off your feet and thrown along with it
@voshadxgathic3 жыл бұрын
Wings: this is working on the assumption that it's bird wings specifically. More practical would be several insect wings for a hero like Wasp. Given enough speed, with a few other calculations, it's entirely feasible for them to be able to carry the weight of a human, relative to size. Bird wings vs insect wings is basically comparing an ordinary jet plane with on that has VTOL capability.

Pretty sure for flying with wings, humans can't just grow 2 huge wings behind their backs, they need a way of steering it, which is why birds have the tails too, without the tail it would be imbalanced and they would fall like a sideways beyblade
