The ending song is the best and most emotional song in SAO, its called Unlasting and its by LiSA, the one who made Crossing Field (the first opening of SAO S1), and is known in the anime community as one of the best singers in anime openings/endings. You may have heard her work also from Demon Slayer OP 1, Demon Slayer Infinity Train - Homura.

When those that invaded the Ocean Turtle cut the hard wire, it sent an electrical surge to the STL that Kirito was in, frying his fluctlight in the process. While he’s not quite brain dead, as he does respond to certain cues, he’s in a vegetative state - that’s the reason why Kirito picked up the nickname “potato” during this part. And ironically, he really isn’t the MC for this part of the series - Alice is.

People hate on the slow part of this season and the very first season i think it all ties together so well and enjoyed the whole series. Personally i think its well done and enjoyed the entirety of the show show has some of the best sound effects in an anime I have heard.

Yeah I hope you react to SAO Endings too after finishing this season. I really like all SAO OP & Endings specially the first season its very nostalgic. I remember when I first watch this anime that time when SAO is so HYPE I mean almost all of my classmates talk about it and the word ISEKAI became famous in anime its not really like the ISEKAi type now where the MC was killed by Truck kun and resurrected to another world, But going to virtual world with this twist that your going to die if you die in the game is unique at that time. Also at that time we are really into computer games cause cellphone with internet/wifi is still not that famous 😅 so we often play games via computer and relate to SAO Season 1 (like Ragnarok) and SAO II Gun Gale online (like Counter Strike) Btw I'am already working now don't know if my classmates back then are still watching SAO or even watching Anime 😅
