Alluka wishing rules: 1. Grants 1 wish after 3 requests are fulfilled 2. Min 2 people die when 4 requests aren't fulfilled 3. The bigger the wish, the bigger the next requests are 4. The bigger the wish, more people will die when requests unfulfilled (the most loved one then the ones you spent most time with) 5. The one whose wish was granted isn't affected by the next requests not being fulfilled 6. One can make a wish after the requests are fulfilled by another 7. After healing someone, Alluka always resets to level 1 8. You can put a condition for a wish to be granted 9. One can't make 2 wishes in a row 10. Once Alluka starts requesting, she won't switch to another until the requests are un/fulfilled by the first person 11. Can't make a request if she doesn't know the name 12. If you die before completing the requests, is considered a failure and 2. applies If I missed something let me know

Alluka's Biological gender is about as clear as what happened to Launch after Dragonball. We got some theories, and a few contradicting messages... like Alluka being a girl, but all the Zoldyk siblings being Male. My best guess is Nanika is a girl, Alluka was born Male, but identifies as a girl she/her because she is only half, Nanika being the other half, a chaotic, but fun loving and extremely powerful Female Nen based spirit. Since in her mind she always had her own thoughts, and a second female consciousness, it makes complete sense that she would Identify as a girl too.

P.S. We will Probably get more information in about 20-25 years when the Dark Continent arc is completely animated. My secondary theory is Alluka is a girl, and Nanika is a girl... and they say ALL siblings are male because they do not consider Alluka family. It could also explain the break between all Male siblings, the only female sibling might be female because Nanika was there from Conception.

I think it is just as likely Alluka is just transgender.... for instance, Killua calls Alluka her, implying that he is the only who respects/loves her enough to call her by her preferred gender. There has never really been any indication that Nanika has a gender, and Alluka herself acts in a manner that would typical of the female gender, and thats when she is fully in control.

@@jelloz1235 That would be my main theory too, I just didn't use the word trans, and gave a logical scenario for a character.. Alluka Bio Male, but Female Identity. Nanika is a Female Nen 'Something' The point of me not using the word Trans was because I do not want to conflate a dual personality cartoon character with the real life struggles of real people. Nanika is referred to as she by both Killua and Alluka... so I'm taking Alluka's understanding of Nanika's gender as... close to fact as we can get. Alluka, if she is Trans, is a special case since she literally has her own consciousness, and a second one she considers her other half. Either way the way the rest of the family treats her is awful. They're either calling her He because of her biological Sex, or they're calling their biological daughter He because they're talking about the spirit and not considering Alluka as even worth mentioning. Killua is definitely the right one to lead the family.

You're not even required to have Nen by the arena itself, it's just that all the top challengers have it and not having it begets an impossible disadvantage. There are millions of hunters but they are still only like 5% of the population and ones that can master Nen are a fraction of that. The hunter exam has been going on long before even MC's dad was born. So every year is actually a lot. With greed island there are only so many copies of the game so the amount of players there can be is soft capped. Not to mention you can only get access to the game if you're involved in some sort of pro hunter job to clear it. The filter is actually a smart way to explain everything.

All the "Alluka is trans!!!11" comments are based purely on English translations. Illumi and the family refer to Alluka in gender neutral terms, mostly stuff similar to "it", presumably ignoring the actual existence of Alluka as a person and just seeing "Something". Even at 32:40 in this vid you can see Morel calling Alluka a "brother" after having it explained by Killua, theres literally no consistency with the translations due to Japanese phrasing being more complex and less gender exclusive. Id suggest reading into a bit of the JP language used in the arc if you want to see full picture, at best you can draw parallels to transgender sure, but its more of a literal fear of the "thing/it" that they cant see her as a person at all

The Zodiacs are not chosen because they're super strong. They are specialists. Ging is the Archeology specialist, Parison is the PR guy, They have a crime specialist, association doctor, and so on. Many of the Field hunters could beat a lot of the Zodiacs in combat because it's not their specialty. They literally have Culinary Hunters who aside from being able to pass the Hunter Exam, aren't strong hunters at all, they travel and write about food.

I don't think Illumi's needles last forever. They just last far longer than it takes a regular person to break down from overworking under his command. Tsubone is a butler. Her job is basically to support her employers in dangerous situations. Power if perfect for that. The stronger you are the better you are at hiding your real strength. This was said before Heaven's Arena. So I don't really pay too much mind to Hisoka's rating. Ging is definitely far above a 100 in Hisoka's scale(assuming 100 is either himself or chrollo) and I don't buy the Zodiacs are beneath King. Plus where would he rate Knov and Morel if Rabbit is only a 77? 72? 78? Nah.

Probably just coincidence. These are all characters drawn by an artist after all and sometimes an artist reuses character designs especially on characters that are only there for a few frames. Pretty difficult to come up with lots of unique designs in manga characters. Manga artstyle has its limitations and in many Manga and Anime stories they often just change the hair styles and keep the faces similar. HxH artist does a phenomenal job at creating so many unique characters though, it is pretty clear that the artist is super skilled.
