Thanks bhai purani yaade taza karne k liye mai 2018 me gaya tha isse thoda aur aage, waha logo ki nishaniya milti jo jaha tak jata hai wo stones se nishaniya laga jata hai but local thoda sa Dara dete hai k dhoop dhalne se pehle niche aa Jana waha koi nahi jata jungli jaanvar hote hai etc etc.

This is Beautiful place I have ever seen and one of the toughest trek of mine.. This is sacred mountain dedicated to bholenaath. According to the local people this mountain is located between badrinath and kedarnath dham.

Yes on the backyard of it kedarnath temple is located. Earlier the same priests used to worship in both badrinath and kedarnath temple .

Good to know that Neelkanth peak is your favorite too. Nahi yahan Jane ke liye kisi permission ki jarurat nahi hoti hai. Lekin bilkul morning time 5AM tak trekking ke liye nikal jana achcha rahega kyonki 2pm tak peak base se wapas aana hoga, otherwise very difficult in return during low light in evening as trekking path after about 4kms is not proper and full of rocks and boulders.

How much time does it take to reach the base camp from the Badrinath temple? Can I return back to Badrinath on the same day if I start before 6 am?

It is about 9 kms from Badrinath temple, If you start from 5 AM, you can reach easily reach up to 12 noon but keep track of path with some markings and try to return upto 2 PM from base area as temperature and weather changes rapidly. Keep torch, sufficient water, and raincoat.

Delighted to know that you liked it. I visited freely in that area without any trekking group support but there are few online sites which provide packages for expedition of peaks in that zone, for example www.peakadventuretour.com, www.himalayadestination.com or www.thrillophilia.com for treks in Himalayas. So you can contact them as per your requirement.

Thank you Sir. This trek be done in winters with proper equipment but in the trekking path there are some medium size bouder zone, proper care is required to cross that part, as it remain covered with snow in winter. It can be done in a day, if start at early morning around 4 am.

Nahi, normally year end November to next year May tak barf jyada rehta hai, rest of the months valley me barf kum ya nahi hota hai. But view hamesha achcha hota hai bcoz Neelkanth parvat humesha barf se dhaka hota hai.
