Wish I would have done things for my body like him. I just turned 32 on Sunday. On the 6th of May the Tuesday before my birthday I had been at the skatepark for 10 minutes before a freak accident happened. Was going down a bank to get speed and somehow my board started to slip out from under me. My back foot got back on it but it ended up slipping out again leaving my body to free fall to the flat about 7 feet. My right leg landed first instantly hearing snaps. Wasn't sure how bad it was until the x-rays. Dislocated my ankle,broke my Tibia in half and shattered my Fibula. Now I've got a rod going from my knee to my ankle with multiple screws to keep it together. I may never walk the same again or even skate again it's so bad. So yes take care of your body cause shit can happen and change your life in a millisecond.

Honest opinion, lululemon makes some of the best functional athletic wear for men and women. I wear their shorts for skateboarding, they look and feel great and no one can tell what brand they are so I don’t get any judgy looks ever. Truth is, you have to try their clothes to understand how above everyone else they are. When you’re grown enough to not care about the cool factor of a brand when choosing clothes, you’ll get it.

I got sober in September of 2013 from booze. When Neen talks about getting rid of all the friends that you party with and do a 180-degree turn. It's hard but you gotta do it. It's not easy Neen is a great teacher and role model.

Stuck in rehab for 10 more months came from jail and literary skating and progressing influenced the partying to where I lost everything except my board and how it is to skate sober and talk about every mistake I done. I wish I just kept with skating and smoking pot... maybe one day

I started skateboarding around 1964. We used to take roller skates and cut them in half with a hack saw, then nail them to 2 by 4's. Skateboarding wasn't allowed and we would place people on fence posts at either end of the street to watch for the police. When someone saw them we yelled "cheezit, the cops." There is nothing quite like seeing a dozen skateboards go flying underneath cars on the street and people diving in behind bushes to hide so they wouldn't get caught. On the right side, I have recently been diagnosed type II diabetic. Too many coca-colas while building one of the first ever streaming video websites. I have been able to get my type II down to being just about cured. Follow the keto diet, you'll have a sugar hangover for about a month. See Susan Hallberg's YT video cure for diabetes. I make my own coconut bread, chocolates and other foods, sugar free using stevia a natural healthy sweetener. I have a two hundred dollar custom board now, and my original Hang Ten my dad gave me with Chicago Trucks and Cadillac wheels. Stay true. Telling the truth means you can be trusted.
