​@@tirthnautanki3961tin coated vessels release toxins soon after it is coated. So overnight it needs to be soaked in cow dung and washed it using ash. Also everytime after cooking ash needs to be used for washing tin coated vessels to remove residue toxins.

​@@tirthnautanki3961 These are brass utensils uses for cooking good for health. But should apply some coating inside. So she went to shop and did. After that coating shopkeeper said no need but she cleaned the vessels with cow dung water by soaking over night to clean the toxic of that coating.

Very nice info 👍 One suggestion. Please use shikakai powder for washing instead of Pithambari. It cleans equally well and is safe for all. For added shine or to remove marks you can use tamarind. I use ash too, but it is not easily available for urban folks whereas shikakai powder is freely available.

Hi I bought eeyam poosina pithalai Pathiram from Kumbakonam. I cleaned several times and then cooked rice in it. The bottom rice got black color coated( not burnt) but blackish particles stick to rice. I washed again and used a tissue paper and swiped it same blackish tinted. Is it that tin coat coming out ? If so how to clean it.
