You will not get a hostel in seth GS and taking a flat on rent in parel can be really expensive , academics wise it is the best in Maharashtra but do consider such factors because I have seen people taking gmc Mumbai just because of hostel facilities beven after getting in seth GS

Yes, vet has a lot of job opportunities in future which are high earning (not more than mbbs though) but I think you should do it only if you are comfortable with animals and have interest in this field as most people don't have interest.
