Neewer NW-700 vs Zingyou ZY-007, Best Budget Showdown | Mic Test & Review

I think it is harder to review budget products than it is to review high-end gear. What did you all think of this review?

The Neewer NW-700 better as the Zingyou sounded muddy to me. They both sound better than the mics on most video cameras.

The Neewer definitely has a lot more presence. The Zingyou just seemed to fall flat on the top end.

I currently have the NW-700 I would recommend it if you have a high ranged voice, the ZY is better for low ranged voices as the Neweer has some white noise while your talking which can be annoying

In my tests here, I notice ALOT more noise in ZingYou. The Neewer comes through much more clear in the mids and highs too. A much better forward presence overall.

@@Qualizar I have the Neewer, but he doesn't go loud. Is there a way to make it louder? I have the phantom box and also bought an external soundkart on amazon, but with the soundcard it doesn't go better lol

@@ovuxia Curious. Which soundcard? From what I am learning, pretty much all input settings (computer audio & soundcard audio) need to be set high.

Thanks for the side by side on these cheapies. I currently have the NW-700 & Phantom Power package in my Amazon cart. With the V8 sound card input to computer, I'm planning to build a cheap LiveStream studio. Anything will improve my laptop cam and mic. 😎
