hey chris! i have the zingyou zy-007, and i use it on my mac. but when i record, the audio quality isnt the same as what i heard in your video. it just sounds like my standard comuter/default mic. were you using a phantom power supply in your video? and if you were, do you reccomend that i buy a phantom power supply?

The ZY-007 does require phantom power to operate. If you bought the full kit with the XLR to 3.5mm connector + the USB adapter, that should provide phantom power. How are you connecting this to your MAC?

@@Qualizar the USB adapter is very cheaply made and does not work for me, so i can only attach it via the aux connection as the end of the XLR cable. planning on buying a phantom power supply on amazon. let me know if you have any suggestions!

I have yet to test it but the Neewer model has had decent reviews. I should probably put that on a list to test soon.
