Just bought a used mp9 myself. Owner sold it because it couldn't fire more than 10 shots. Turns out the cup seal was ripped, ordered the Lees Presicion piston head now it runs pretty good other than the fact that sometimes the bolt doesn't come all the way forward, which doesn't activate the trigger and a new shot can not be fired. But thanks to your solution with the extra spring this problem also got solved! Thanks

What do you actually think about the aap-01 especially internal wise ?
@ghostwalkerairsofttech19474 жыл бұрын
Aap 01 rocks. It's good out of the box with .36 gram bbs. You need a 138mm crazy jet or 6.03 tb gbb barrel, a 50 degree maple leaf autobot and the hadron I key, the suppressor adapter (to cover the extra barrel length with a suppressor). With those components you can rock .48s out to as much or more than 120ft. Word of caution though...get the glock 18c extended mag or you will mag dump a standard mag in 2 seconds on full auto.

Nice video as always. The MP9 is a dream to play with as long as it works. I have heard people claim that loading the thing without locking the bolt back risk breaking to loading arm. Any guess if that may be true?
@ritzcar90114 жыл бұрын
S4zzie it is true in that you can wear down the bolt catch and eventually when you fire your last shot of a magazine, the bolt won’t lock back
@Thahamster4 жыл бұрын
@@ritzcar9011 i don't know how common it is but it had that problem when I bought mine second hand. The catch works just like on a gbb pistol but the catch is must harder than the bolt and it is sharp, so it wears down the "ledge" which it catches on for every time you release the bolt. I tried rounding off the surface on the catch and I filed a new ledge on the bolt, but it worn down again. My MP9 is disassembled for the moment but I am planning on adding epoxy where the bolt meets the bolt catch so it hopefully does not wear down.
@ritzcar90114 жыл бұрын
S4zzie I haven’t run into that problem yet, I just lube it before every game depending on how much I shot the last one, I run hpa tapp so

THANK YOU!!! I have been saying this all along. People keep using the wrong fucking gas in these things. The hop rubbers are shit too. if you use green gas or ANY gas with silicone in it your hop rubber will fail straight away within 20 minutes of play. I fixed one of these for a guy told him what gas to use. Within a week and 20 minutes on the field he was calling me to fix it again. "what gas did you use?" Duh valken green gas- sure Im gonna fix it again and its gonna cost you 30 bucks...Im happy to take your money but if you keep doing what I tell you NOT to do you might as well learn to fix it yourself 'cause Im not gonna do it anymore. as for the recoil spring issue...the force of the bolt gong forward is more than enough to compensate for the lack of spring strength. thats what i found anyhow after playing around with diff springs and short stroking.
@NegativeAirsoftTech4 жыл бұрын
Lube won't ruin the rubbers, that's just not true. The rubbers in these suck, use a guarder rubber.
@ghostwalkerairsofttech19474 жыл бұрын
@@NegativeAirsoftTech well have to agree to disagree...my customer used silicone green gas in the gun and the hop rubber soaked up the silicone so bad it swelled up and wouldn't hold a bb to save its life. Others have had this experience as well particularly the japanese model. The hop rubber just lose their structural integrity. And the japanese model guns require a completely different hop rubber than the tw version.
@NegativeAirsoftTech4 жыл бұрын
@@ghostwalkerairsofttech1947 It was a batch issue, certain oils & so forth used in the creation of certain rubbers are on the no no list of sanctions placed after WW2. The rubber will swell up regardless of what you do, the Japanese rubber is unaffected however the TW versions that KWA & ASG buy up are compiled from lesser quality parts & that includes the hop rubber & the seals in the fill valves - this is why so many KWA mags have issues filling with gas very much like the early WE 1911 mags & often cannot fill past 10 or so shots. Recently this issue has been put to rest by companies such as Army by buying in rubber seals from outside of the sanctioned zones -that's why they have transparent seals in their mags over nitrile seals ;-) The early ASG & KWA manuals would tell you not to lube your hop rubbers where-as they no longer do (again, batch dependant) which is where the rumour that lubing your hop rubber causes breakage comes from. By installing a Guarder rubber into the gun for the cost of about $8 all these issues go away & the gun will hop properly.
@ghostwalkerairsofttech19474 жыл бұрын
@@NegativeAirsoftTech great info Luke...I do lube hop rubbers that is what sent me sailing down this road of using the proper gas in the mp9. And being the japanese model hop rubbers were so hard to come by I didn't want to risk the customers only replacement. The hop rubber for the Japanese model if I recall is larger than the tw model, so a standard size hop rubber will not work in this particular gun. Same for the sealing cup, the tw version is round, whereas the jp version is oblong.
