Neglected 1-Owner Apex Blue Pearl 2008 Honda S2000 CR (PROCEED WITH CAUTION)

I guess before I dig into it I should give you a little bit of a backstory. When this car (THIS EXACT CAR) was brand new on the showroom floor in late 2009, me and my new wife were trading in my 2003 Lexus IS300 5MT for a 2010 Honda Fit because she doesn’t know how to drive a manual. So while we’re in there doing the paperwork, I’m drooling for this S2000 CR and crying for trading my IS300 but as we all know…Happy Wife Happy Life.
This car continued to sit in the showroom before eventually buy this S2000 CR being sold to the head of the local SCCA chapter. He bought it to autocross and that’s just what he did. It never spent a day in a garage, always parked underneath some pine trees where I’d see it every day on the way home from work. I’ve been over there a few times in the past few years to talk to him about it but he still seem to enjoy driving it so I never asked if it was for sale. But more recently as he is getting older and wider I saw that the car didn’t move very much anymore. I finally talked to him about selling it. So here it is, my very neglected but still 1-owner 10/10 VIN 2008 Honda S2000 CR with 128k miles. Let’s see if I can give this car a better life. I’ll update soon on progress.
