Quick Cuts V2

Жыл бұрын

This yard was in pretty bad shape after not having any work done, except for mowing, for over a year. We were tasked with an overall cleanup, and we completed all the necessary trimming and tiding to a good standard. This yard probably needs a check every 4 months to keep it looking nice, but the owner prefers to have it done yearly. All up, the job took us around 5 hours to complete, and we took out approx. 3/4 of a trailer of waste material.
Workers on this job: George (long pants) & Reece (Shorts).

FAQ's:
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

Thank you for not simply driving over everything that you cut off the plants with a mower like everybody else on KZbin does. I enjoy the cleaning up parts as much as I enjoy watching you cut off stuff from the plants and trees. Also THANK YOU for the no music channel..I hate music in these type of videos. I need the sounds 😅♥️

I agree, I find music very distracting, to the point where I mute the sound on many of my favorite channels, but then I don’t hear the cleanup sounds. Thanks for this no music channel!❤️

I love watching you work, my friend, because you know your plants and how to care for each one! Not only that, you tell us what the plants are! I am so excited to have seen the huge Rambling Rose bush. I've heard Nat King Cole sing the song since I was a child but I didn't know there was really such a thing. It doesn't look at all like a regular rose bush. You and your young assistants work very well together. I especially like EVERLAST. 😉 Please tell me your names. I like his shorts. 👍🏾 You have a fan for life. Please keep helping folk with their gardens and sharing the jobs with us, and thank you so much for educating your viewers. Sending lots of love and good wishes your way! 🙏🏾🫶🏾🌹🌿

@QCV2
@QCV2 Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure on the name of that one 🤷‍♂️. It was just a standard prune - Remove all dead wood, branches crossing over, inward facing branches, thin out, cut to height. Generally, a fruit tree shouldn't be any higher than you can reach and ideally a wine glass or fan shape.
