If you haven't heard any of the interviews with Mary Trump (his neice) it's enlightening and terrifying. His whole family is massively dysfunctional and he's just about the most dysfunctional of all of them. "Caring about the country" is an act he puts on in order to get the power he craves.

Lol the virtue signaling. His choice of word is great indeed but he's still reading from script, stopping mid sentence to read the script again and a lot of time is spent reading the script rather than looking at the audience. I understand that it's impossible without reading a script considering the length but i wouldn't call him extremely articulate. He's just articulate, he choose his word well, his argument flow well, as i don't know the actual event i can't tell if it's a strong argument, but he would still stop mid sentence from time to time and spent a lot of time reading.

@@tanyawade5197 he's a lawyer and thus he need to present his case and being a presenter would require you to perform to the audience to keep your audience interest, within limit of course. This is done by body gesture, creating and mantaining eye contact, and other small activity that's used to emphasize either what you want to say or the stance you took (open to dialogue, appaled, hopefull, etc). There's a difference between doing a loud monologue and having a dialogue, something that the lawyer are well aware of as shown of how he doesn't always look at the text, he would also look at the audience every once in a while. Would it impact the outcome of the discussion, not really. it would however impact wether or not his audience would be able to follow what he's talking about which is what being articulate is about (i think). He's articulate, but i wouldn't say he's among the best.

You do remember that in school one of thing the teacher will critique you about when you perform a presentation is how much you're reading from the script (wether you wrote it yourself doesn't matter). I am not going to repeat myself why that should be but i am just noticed an obvious virtue signaling so i just wanted to call the person up on it.

Usually, this is done so that they dignitaries are secure in the open arena. But I've never seen Trump use one before. I may be wrong but I think he even mocked others for using such security measures before. Anyways, the point is, why would he set up this bulletproof stage if he didn't expect armed protesters in the crowd?

That's not something that he can lose in this. Even if he is impeached, he was still president and presidents are always given secret service details for life. Trump may opt out of the service details for private security but that is a presidential guarantee... It is very sad though.

@@jonathansturgisjs Things on wearing a mask. 1. Wear a mask around others (obviously). 2. While wearing a mask indoors if you're staying in a room with several people it is imperative to open windows. Due to people breathing and talking the air can safely filter it's way outside. 3. Try to avoid touching your mask as it is cross contamination. Those are basic rules and it's obvious this man is breaking at least two. Standing up for what's right while not doing it himself? Pathetic.
