I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (April 18), this was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson of the Day. It was entitled "Nehemiah: The Captive Cupbearer Rebuilds a Nation." The hymn, "We Praise You, O God," written by Julia C. Cory (1882-1963), is a good hymn to compliment this Scripture, regardless of denomination. This hymn is also sung at Thanksgiving.

Yes! I once was at a Church where they would have a fifteen minute program and then spend thirty minutes thanking people!
