I cried with joy when I got the email that Nehemia is engaged! My dearly departed wife and I both lifted you up to the Father for a help mate. It’s a wonderful reminder that just because my sweet, beautiful, smart, righteous young wife is departed that her prayers are not made null and void. This is especially comforting as I know she prayed fervently for Yehovah to bless and keep this family of ours that is left behind to grieve and miss her. I pray that your marriage will be blessed greatly by our Father in Heaven and that it might bring forth much fruit. Earthly fruit if it be His will and spiritual fruit! Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Shabat shalom, Keith, Nehemia. Keith I agree with u. During my early days as a Christian, I use to get so confused about the title, 'Lord', not so much when I am reading, but during sermons, songs, n especially during prayers. One minute I think they are praying to Lord.....(which I take to mean Heavenly Father), then suddenly, they are saying the name Jesus. So that means they are praying to Jesus??? If that is so, why then do they finish the prayer, 'In The Name of Jesus'??? That doesn't make sense. Or does it mean they were praying to Heavenly Father n Jesus??? That still doesn't make sense to me. That is not how Yeshua taught us to pray..... I guess that's what happens when sheep follow other sheep only, we go around in circles or go astray, instead of also keeping our eye on The Shepherd n following in His footsteps. Thanks be to YHVH, my eyes are now firmly on HIM n Yeshua. Congratulations Nehemia on your engagement, Yehovah bless u n family n friends. Thank you to both of u, for your sharing/teaching. 😊🙏

This theology is not 2nd century. It's In Tanak. The messenger of Yehovah in Ex 23 can pardon sin. In Gen 18, the messenger of Yehovah is called "Judge over all the earth" and the text says He is Yehovah. In Judges 13, the messenger of Yehovah is said to be "God" by Manoah and they bowed down to Him without correction by that messenger. Elsewhere in Tanak, there are messengers who are not Yehovah as well in the New Testament like Gabriel. But that does not change what Tanak is telling us in these specific passages I just cited. So if we're studying the text and more importantly, ACCEPTING THE TEXT, then Yehovah who cannot be seen, is seen and is responding in humanity in these texts. Therefore, if scripture is not mistaken and we are to believe what we're reading, there is only 1 conclusion. Yehovah is invisible but Yehovah also has a physicality who is not invisible in Tanak and Yehovah has a Spirit who also has other attributes in Tanak. How is that possible? Doesn't Tanak describe Yehovah as having all of the above? Doesn't it tell us that Yehovah is a Deity who is invisible but also a Deity who has a physicality and a Deity who has a spirit....all able to act independently yet according to the same initiative and purpose because HE is echad? As to your example of Yehovah violating His law with images, there is no such command to not make images. There is a command to not make images that you bow down to and worship. Anytime we form clay (or any other medium) into a shape, we are making an image. That is not a violation of Torah. The snake on the pole was to be looked upon, not bowed down to and worshipped. Years later we see King Hezekiah removed it for that very reason. Israel was told not to return to the way of Egypt by doing what that text describes. It is used as a metaphor. It is not saying, do not go geographically to Egypt. Israel was in Kadesh many times; this was inside the border of Egypt. In Jeremiah, the text references Egypt as a place to "not settle there." That context is important because Mary and Joseph were not going to Egypt to settle there. As well, God's people are commanded from Egypt to go to the Feast of Tabernacles according to Zechariah 14 with a warning. Egypt has a time of cleansing/repentance according to Isaiah 19.

I heard a good message which explained that it is the doctrine of the trinity that leads Christians to read their belief re:the trinity back into the Tanah. So whenever there is a manifestation like the angel of YeHoVaH they are essentially forced to see it as Jesus, instead of just reading the plain meaning of the text.

JIANJU. I cannot see your comment to reply directly. But... I don't say that the 3 men who Abraham saw, were the trinity. The context and sense of Who was who, is Clear from the point Abraham sees the 3 men, until God destroys Sodom and Gomorrah. The Angel of the Lord is Usually taken to be the pre incarnate Son of God. The 3 men Abraham saw. I believe we're 2 angels and The angel ( or messenger ) of the Lord. Abraham Continued Standing before Jehovah, when he tried to see if God would save the City of Sodom. Probably because he knew Lot was there with his family. The 2 other angels went down to Sodom to arrive at Lots House 🏡 According to Your own words " So it is like a representative, who is as good as God's word or God himself" If the Word of God according to Johns gospel chapter 1 IS God. The Word of God is the Angel or messenger of The Lord. Before the Incarnation. " The word became Flesh and dwelt amongst us" Just remember what Jesus said in the Gospels. John 10 v 30 30 I and the Father are ONE.” JOHN 17 v 22 22 I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be ONE as We are ONE - 23 I in them and You in Me-that they may be PERFECTLY UNITED so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me. The trinity is Not that there are 3 Gods it is that there are Three personalities Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Who are All ONE. And PERFECTLY UNITED. There is no scripture that says God is One being alone. He clearly says " I alone am God and beside me there is No other" No other WHAT?? No other God. All others are False demon spirits. The Father is YEHOVAH. The Word is YEHOVAH. The Spirit is YEHOVAH. If the Qualification to be the True eternal living God, without beginning or end. Then the Father qualifies. The Word qualifies. And the spirit Qualifies. This can be PROVED from Scripture. John 5 v 16-18. 16Now because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jews began to persecute Him. 17But Jesus answered them, “To this very day My Father is at His work, and I too am working.” 18Because of this, the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him. Not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God. And Again. John 10 v 31-33 31At this, the Jews again picked up stones to stone Him. 32But Jesus responded, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone Me?” 33“We are not stoning You for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God.” I think you need to do some more research, and look at what is prophecied in the Old Testament.

I was always taught by my grandparents that the Angel of the Lord in the “Old Testament” was a theophany and it was really Yeshua making an appearance. They condidered him yhvh. Clearly. They considered the father the omnipresent universe filling spirit that cannot be seen that is everywhere. The Son is his manifestation. To John, when Isaiah sees yhvh on the throne and his train filling the temple, he sees the son. That means Ezekiel saw the son. Genesis accounts, the yhvh of the burning bush.... exodus 3:2 My two biggest suggestions i can make to understand this are 1 kings 8. Lolk at the experience and locality, then look at solomons testimony. You can use isaiah for this as well. I would also suggest Exekiel 1. The living beings. You have a cherub. And underneath the cherub in the wheel is the spirit that controls his body. Similar to a human. Are we to sah that the cherub is really not a cherub at all but a hologram and the true cherub is the spirit? Same for every echad human. @morielrorschach80904 жыл бұрын
Interested in the point Nehemiah makes about people considering "The angel of the Lord" as the preincarnate Christ... Which is technically accurate, but skips a couple steps: The book of Zechariah shows a messenger delivering God's message to Zechariah. Throughout the book the messenger is sometimes called Mal'ach Yehovah (The angel of Yehovah)... but in this case it goes back and forth also referring to it as "Devar Yehovah" (The WORD of Yehovah). I would suggest there are many angels, but "The WORD of Yehovah" is a specific one. The same one that's called "ho logos" (The Word) in John, who was WITH God and became flesh. Important to note that John 1:1c is mistranslated... "The Word" was not THE God WITH WHOM he was (in John 1:1b)... but had godly qualities as a heavenly being because he was in the presence of Yehovah, our God. (Notice he was "pros ton theon," accusative, the object of the sentence being distinct from the subject... and theos en ho logos... two nominative terms, one of which anarthrous. That's a qualitative nominative predicate) Calling Jesus a messenger of God shouldn't exactly be a stretch for people who believe in his message about God... doesn't mean he's a cherubim or seraphim... but he clearly brought a message.

Shalam I have an answer for T-bone's question at 28:47-30:21 his question was "why did the angel tell them(Joseph and Mary) to flee to Egypt? when we were commanded in Deu.17.16 to not go back that way" Deu.17.16"But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way" The short answer is to fulfill prophecy the Prophecy found in Hos.11.1which states" When Israel [was] a child, then I loved him and called my son out of Egypt" The Messiah is called ISRAEL in Isa.49.1-6 verse 1" l Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name" The LORD never made mention of Jacob's name from the womb only after he came out(Gen.25.26) but of CHRIST JESUS he did read Matt.1.18-21 verse 21" And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins(JESUS: that is, Saviour or Salvation, in Heb) I believe that's just a TITLE his real name is ISRAEL. Now, Hos.11.1 also says" and called my son out of Egypt" The nation of ISRAEL was not called out of Egypt they were delivered read EX.3.7,8 which says" And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which [are] in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 3:8 And I am come down to DELIVER THEM out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. So Hos.11.1 is only speaking of an individual and not the Nation the individual which is the Messiah Christ Jesus aka ISRAEL, that's why the angel tells them(Joseph and Mary) to flee to Egypt and it was fulfilled as Matthew said in Matt.2.13-15 and in Matt.2.19,20 was the call out of Egypt, Notice also how the Angel never calls Joseph the Father read verses 13,14, and 20 I hope I have answered T-bone's question Shalam.

@garlandjones77093 жыл бұрын
Hebrew doesn't have tenses like English does. The qal form means the action is completed, or the perfect. Vs the imperfect, was calling. Called would be accurate to the Hebrew. That does not however mean that it wasnt prophetic and just spoke of a past event in that passage. Hebrew prophecy understands multiple repeating of themes. So even if it was used of a past event by Isaiah, it can be used as foreshadowing a future one. Edit: and qara doesnt just mean call in the sense of speaking. It embodies the idea of expecting a response. Like a roll "call" at school or event. Hence the appointed/summoned options in the lexicon. Hope that helps you in the future if you hadnt noticed that before. This escapes quite a few ive spoke witb personally

After Joseph and Mary heard that Herod had died they returned to Galilee. They could have been in Egypt for three and a half years.

Does a judge in the human court system violate The law? As the supreme judge is it fitting four judges in the lower court system to question his deliberation decision? And further is it fitting for those of us Who have not been given the position of a judge, but rather been given only some men’s guiding opinion to judge an official command from the king or Emperor? Now I bear in mind that if I received a communication by a spirit that I should give due diligence to verifying the source, but in a set down story account in which the command is clearly followed and explained should we quarterly become judges, or should we all loneliness of life and seek to understand?♥️

Addressing T--bones question: it is clear from the context it is referring a king's powers and abilities as well as Israel a whole, as a nation. It is saying that the nation may never be returned to Egypt. It is not talking about single individuals or a single family unit who seeking refuge and sanctuary from a tyrant. It is talking about principles governing kings. Surely the Torah is for saving life especially innocent life of an Israelite child. In this case portions of the Torah concerning the value of life, protecting that life, protecting the weak and vulnerable and instructions concerning sanctuary cities applies. Judge righteously with just weights. I too agree with and rejoice at the instruction and knowledge that Israel shall never return to Egypt. Yehovah keep Israel from Egypt forever. Yehovah keep it so. Yehovah Amein. When Keith and Nehemiah went to Egypt did they violate the Torah? No, because two men going to Egypt does not mean the entire nation of Israel went back to Egypt. They went to Egypt but they did not return to Egypt. There is a difference between going and returning. Keith and Nehemiah went there for a vacation or to do research, not to submit to pharaoh and get back into bondage. Let me say this neither did Joseph and Mary. It was not their intent to return to Egypt. It was not their motive. Therefore Joseph and Mary did not violate the Torah.

@@garlandjones7709 It is ALWAYS CONFIRMED by at least 2 witnesses, within the different levels of interpretation, so it may not always be literal. One example that is not literal is the one about THE LORD GOD saying He will call His Son out of Egypt. That refers to both the Jews leaving Egypt and Yehoshua the MOSHIACH (Jesus Christ) coming out of Egypt as a child, and also refers to those who are BORN AGAIN of the HOLY SPIRIT who leave Egypt (the worldly system ruled by darkness/satan/the enemy), coming out into a new reality - 2Corinthians 5:17. In the "new testament" where the roman catholic system had control over the translations there have been changes made, especially parts of the gospel of Matthew, and in the WISDOM OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD you will find that those changes were not repeated. Another is the baptism in water in the NAME of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (all these are titles), that is mentioned only ONCE.
