That was an extraordinary critical analysis of Mr.Nehru. Present social media propaganda does not understand the nuances of the history and Political situations at that point of time..We the generation now only understanding the pictures of false information..A stage like this will help the youth to grasp the most important and underrated information about Indian history where we are neglecting post independence history for a reason to excel in exams. The school textbooks also need to critically analyse the important policy decisions of the government.

In human behavior, I've noticed a peculiar pattern: people tend to align themselves with one side of an argument-sometimes due to overconfidence in their knowledge or a desire to project a certain persona. Once they take a side, they defend it rigidly, often refusing to acknowledge the other perspective, even when both sides are essentially expressing the same idea in different ways. This is how our ideologies take shape, and while they give us structure, they can also limit our understanding. Now, in the age of data and AI, I am certain that these ideologies are increasingly being influenced externally, often in ways we cannot easily detect. Platforms that seem ideal for critical thinking and meaningful discussion could, in the wrong hands, be used to subtly manipulate opinions or create confusion. It’s not feasible for everyone to always verify information against books and primary sources to uncover the truth. This leads me to believe that no one is ever completely right or completely wrong-we are all somewhere in between. The key is to stay open-minded, question information, and recognize the gray areas in every argument.

It was a great discussion, after watching this discussion and my own knowledge, Nehru played a vital role in foundation of democratic institutions in india, yes he was inclined toward Socialistic. Which we can sense through his many works, but one thing i want to mentioned that he was not an idealistic at all, if he was idealistic he could not had approached the UN on kashmir issue, he did it because he was pragmatic. The foundation of important institutions like IITs, AIMS etc speaks volumes of his pragmatism.

Probable no!! Because the best brains coming out of this institution.next day pick up flight to western countries..the long story short we are showing the tree and invest on it..the fruits are eaten by western countries.

Even though I currently support Modi (not because of radicalism but because he is administrator with experience and I hate dynasts in general), Nehru was a great PM. The best thing he did was to lay the foundation of IITs and his emphasis on Scientific Temperament and Critical thinking in a society which was largely illiterate. His nuclear vision, his space vision. All of these have started during Nehru.

Mr Nehru had all the wherewithal to handle the Kashmir issue in a way more strategically wise and diplomatically efficient manner. He should have considered Sardar Vallabhbhai's timely advice and helplessly knocking at the doors of UN was a blunder which India is still paying the price of. All the developmental and sociological insights aside which favour Mr Nehru, the Kashmir issue shall remain a black blot in his political career. The China conundrum leading to the 1962 Indo China War is also a lesson on not to be too idealistic as a leader especially when it comes to International Relations with neighbouring nations. However having said that, one cannot help but marvel at the way he handled a post-partition India still in its nascent stage of democracy in a commendable way. A lot could have been done but then that's a retrospective privilege.
