The fence reminds me of something I read about in a sheep farming book: You nail the planks to the INSIDE of the fence, so when the animal pushes on them, they arent pushing the nails out of the posts.

When she was listing the breeds of her dogs as soon as she said she had a GSP I knew right away that was the dog that did it. Hunting dogs don't always mix well with small yapping dogs. Their prey drive kicks in.

I'm usually on the side of the person with the dogs who were attacked because nine times out of ten, either the dog(s) or the owner(s) had nothing to do with it, but if I know my next-door neighbor has three huge dogs -- and Great Danes are HUGE dogs -- no matter what kind of dogs *I* have, I'm going to reinforce the fence separating our properties in whatever way I legally can. Especially if I let my dogs out into my backyard to go potty, run around and play, etc.

The two differences are 1. as someone above said, Judge Judy doesn’t claim to know but 2. the plaintiff and defendant have chosen Judge Judy to hear their case - she is the one who has to make a decision either way based on what she believes. Witnesses, on the contrary, can’t
