This is so dumb. Why does anyone care that that two people were smart enough to figure out how to buy an amazing home? The only reason the neighbors are mad is because they didn't think of this themselves.

Every homeowner had as much opportunity as the immigrant couple who used their intelligence rather than complain about their situation. Good for them!

Looks like someone made a VERY wise purchase and easily 10x investment.. ID install a gate a Charge a monthly access fee to enter $$$$$ and well you have to get to your house somehow..

My guess...the investors want to ruffle the "RICH" feathers on that street. They might put up a gate and charge a toll...or settle with the HOA for double their investment. The HOA will get sued, its a mess. With the amount of money on that street...90K is probably what they keep on hand as petty cash.

My guess is the HOA will sue the new owners just to wear them down until they settle out of court.
@OfficialLILV7 жыл бұрын
Its going to be a slippery slope on both sides. My goal as new owners would be to cash out quick, before they have the chance to sue. Lol I hope we can all follow this. Don't know why, the whole thing seems ignorant. The city of S.F are the A-holes!

Ms. Lam is also blatantly lying. She says "I don't want to make money off of the street and common areas. I just want to hold onto it." GTFOOH

Bizarre story but the homeowners association should have known to have a current address on all property tax items. The overdue amount was only $994 so it looks like someone was paying the bills in past years. Very strange. Even stranger is how the street and sidewalks ended up with a separate block and lot number.

Ya see, now they have to deal with a third party when it comes to repairs/ upkeep. Sure they may hire an attorney to handle relations but it was cost them. I enjoy the idea that they may have to pay more for basically nothing. Kinda like homeowners forced to absorb the nagative neighborhood effects a homeless shelter brings to a neighborhood. Sounds stupid but until you deal with homeless issues in you market value area pushed by rich detached liberals on someone area you may never know. Ya think they are within a mile of a homeless outreach. Let the property value drop like the poorer neighborhood. 90k for property in SF......score.

Who else knew it was going to be an Asian buyer? I knew it. Why? Because if anyone has been to residential areas in San Francisco, it'll about 80% owned by Chinese. The whole City is Chinatown now. Has been for 20+ years.
