Indeed, what America lacks is any kind of goal. When we don't have a stated goal to reach for, everything stagnates, and it becomes nothing more than politics as usual.

Fun fact: During the Apollo programme, NASA had about 4% of the US funding - most of it going to space exploration. Nowadays it has less than 1%, and most of it is going to maintenance. #FundNASA

Fortunately, not a single denier half-wit has yet debunked this or any other Moon landing with science or anything else for that matter. I don't actually know where you stand, but it doesn't really matter. When deniers infer at least 18 men - all, with one exception, test pilots and combat fliers - were compliant cowards, it kind of boils my piss. Only low achieving failures deny Apollo. And not one of them can support their own opinions in open debate, because there is no hoax evidence.

@@ginskimpivot753 There are no moon landing deniers. Because you cannot deny something that never took place. There are moon landing reality checkers for those 10% of the world who are in doubt. There is 0 evidence man ever walked on the moon. There are poorly made studio films of men trying to play like they walked on the moon.

i would like to think that as Neil passed away and his spirit began the great journey we all must take that he was given opportunity to visit the Moon one last time. I Imagine after visiting the Moon and coming back to Earth as he did in the Apollo 11 mission, the desire and yearning would be strong to return and visit it again. I imagine Neil was hoping that he would get another opportunity in his lifetime. Thinking myself an avid conspiracy annalist, I've never doubted that the Apollo 11 mission was authentic and Neil and Buzz actually landed and spent a brief time on the surface of the Moon before with some reluctance I imagine hopping back on board the LEM and heading home.

@@maxsmith695 I've never looked into it. I would like to think it was real and not some dumb fabrication that we have continued to perpetuate all these years. I thought you could see the rover tracks on the moon with a high power telescope from Earth or the shadow of the planted flag or shoot a laser at the Lunar Laser Retro-Reflector? Don't respond, again I have never felt the need or have been prompted to look into it. It is one of those things I want to believe actually happened, surely we are not still faking it for the masses or for our enemies.

If I were Elon, I would NEVER have let him on SpaceX property. Armstrong, besides having insulted private space companies like SpaceX, had too many friends in the 'Legacy Aerospace Industry'. SpaceX wouldn't want any industrial spies on their property.
