NASA had a collection of scientists and rocket propulsion experts on a risk management assessment team. There were 34 experts on this team headed by a Ph.D in physics. They determined the risk of catastrophic failure on any "one-way", moon mission launch, was 95%. They determined it would required 10 failure missions ( 30 dead astronauts) to land one man on the moon and the risk of his returning was to small to determine. One of the founders of NASA, was Arthur C. Clarke, a science fiction writer and the man who worked for 4 years ( 1965-1968) on the movie, 2001- A space Odyssey- with director Stanley Kubrick. Having said that, my guess is once the risk management report had been circulated in the executive offices, someone called Arthur C. Clark who then called Kubrick to plan a fake moon landing. The rest is history.

@@maxsmith695 NASA has tons of undeniable pictures and films, who talk a totally different language: It`s not about believe it or doubt it. It`s about nine flights to the moon. Why did they do it nine times, if they faked it ? Faking it nine times? The answer to this simple counter-question is about character far more... than any self isolated intelligence, ignoring admirable facts... just for gaining attention... The true result finally: Armstrong is not your scale, Max.

@@GermanGreetings - Why? Money. Why did it end? Russia had the proof it needed to blackmail Nixon. NASA is a hoax machine. Look at the forensics not the fairy tale propaganda. The cost of paying off blackmailers became too high. Saudi's also joined the party.

Actually there becomes a theory that the Moon was never ejected from any collision but somehow anchored from outside of our Solar system. Neil talks about the Moon as if he ever stood on it.

He never admitted to lying about anything, especially about going to the moon. Some of the things he said were taken out of context and/or twisted around by hoaxers who were trying to create more misinformation about the moon landings but Armstrong himself never lied about anything.

@@joevignolor4u949 - Assume I am a test pilot and I tell you, I tested a advanced plane and before I tested it for the FIRST time, I was told by the experts, there was a 95% chance it would blow up, each time I started the engines. Well, I just went ahead and flew that plane, and 5 of my buddies also decided to EACH, take a test ride, and none of us were hurt at all. ------------- But the funny thing is there was this other plane, a simple plane and the same risk mgrs at the SAME company, said there was only a 1 in 100,000 chance that simple craft, would blow up, once we started the engines. Yet, 2 of the first 15 blew up, so we stopped flying it. plane 1 = Apollo plane 2= Shuttle

Ok so the man who first landed on the moon shows up and tells a rock story? And not even a moon rock story, which would be interesting. Hey i got some moon rock stories. Wasn't the moon rock given to Holland during the Apollo World Tour later found to be petrified wood?! And wasn't von Braun, the master architect for the Saturn V rocket documented as going to Antartica in early 1969 to retrieve "moon rocks" which had found their way to Earth? I'm ashamed to admit this, but the thought recently occurred to me, "what if he really didn't go?" That makes more sense to be honest. The odd stories and circumstantial evidence is starting to add up. The only evidence i have to prove we did go is the TV footage. Is that really enough? If i believed everything i saw on tv i'd be really stupid. I'm sorry but that's what i thought. I feel so bad.
@kev3d
@kev3d 7 жыл бұрын
You should feel bad, because you didn't do your homework. The moon rock samples returned from Apollos 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, and from the Soviet Luna 16, 20 and 24 we not subject to direct heat of entering the atmosphere, thus they are structurally different from the moon rocks which have come to Earth naturally. Secondly, the Apollo missions left behind special mirrors against which lasers are bounced, an experiment which continues to this day. Thirdly, the Apollo sites as well as some soviet rover sites have been spotted by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter craft. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nISnlnygiN-HsKM Fourthly, the missions were tracked from Earth, and the Soviets would have had every ability to know whether or not the signals were coming from the lunar surface, and they could have easily exposed the hoax. It would have been hugely embarrassing for their rivals, the US and thus a huge political victory in the Cold War for the USSR, all without firing a shot. But they didn't. They didn't, because they couldn't, because the Soviets knew the moon missions were true. Fifthly, if the missions were faked, why go through the embarrassment of Apollo 13?

@@kev3d Sixthly - This petrified wood story is another piece of widely disseminated hoaxer misinformation. Some Dutch diplomat had a ordinary rock that was given to him by an American diplomat who came from Arizona. At the end of his life the Dutch diplomat became confused and though it might be a moon rock. The Apollo 11 astronauts had visited the Netherlands on a goodwill tour so the diplomat assumed that was how he had gotten the object. Based on this assumption he marked the object as a "moon rock" and put it in his collection. After he died his estate gave the rock to a Dutch museum, which made the mistake of putting it on display without verifying its authenticity first. After 10 years it was examined and found to be petrified wood. NASA had absolutely nothing to do with the object. Neither did Neil Armstrong or the Apollo 11 crew. You can blame the Dutch museum for not having it verified first before putting it on display. Any actual Apollo samples that have been examined by geologists have always been found to be real lunar material.
