Fun fact, I played this at a cafe over the main speaker. The customers instantly got up and panicked. They had suddenly heard the most heavenly piece of music ever made. The roof lifted off the building, the winds of gods flying through, lighting lit up the sky in bright gold flashes. I ascended unto the highest plane of existence, a result of picking the heavenly tune and educating the masses of it's all effervescent grace. Neil himself crowned me as one of many lords of the 11th dimension. True story.

Timothy E. It's because Neil has more musical talent than most of his mashup victims. And since the major amalaise of most chart music is repetition and a dearth of ideas, his constant refiguring of themes and adding of counterpoint or modulation makes the songs much more interesting than they originally were.

remembering the time yesterday in theater i had this stuck in my head and i was trying to explain it to my friend but i couldn’t say shit except for mouth albums, mouth sounds, mouth silence, mouth moods, and mouth dreams. i guess you could say that all i could make and say were mouth sounds....

Oh shit...look this up on Whosampled. The Kanye "Stronger" sample comes it AT THE EXACT SAME TIMEFRAME as it does in the official video for the song. Genius.

I love that this isn't even All Star. It proves that ANY Smash Mouth song can be remixed to ANY song. Edit: NEVERMIND!!!!
