Here's a quick summary to those in a hurry: 1. They discuss how to measure success in a person by considering multiple dimensions, rather than just one dimension such as grades or social skills. 2. The idea is to think of each dimension as a coordinate in a hypercube, and the success of a person is represented by their position in the hypervolume of the hypercube. 3. Four dimensions could be used: grades, social skills, ambition, and capacity to recover from failure. 4. The success of a person is not determined by their position on any one-dimensional scale, but by their position in the hypervolume of the four dimensions. 5. It is also suggested that this concept could be applied to choosing a mate, and that it's better to consider multiple dimensions rather than just one dimension such as looks or wealth.

There is a further subjective step to take and it’s to give a weight to any factor you want to consider, since not all of them whatever they are could have the same importance. Once done also this, it’ll be a powerful tool to support in making the most important decisions

I think one thing that is never discussed that is of an up most importance is passion. Doing something that you enjoy. Many people have a hard time finding that. If your not passionate about something it’s hard to find motivation. Most people work for someone else’s passion and dreams.
@TheStrangerbyAlbertCamus
@TheStrangerbyAlbertCamus Жыл бұрын
Bodybuilder or military ppl or even Jeff Bezos in his garage back in the day…. These people didn’t start by having a passion 💡 they started by getting focused on improving themselves or something 💡 it’s easy to find motivation to go to the gym when you’re in your bed, the real deal begins when it’s cold a 4-5am, you didn’t sleep enough, your body is still soar, your schedule for the day is busy BUT you still wake up and go to gym .. it’s not passion it’s dedication to one’s craft.

@@TheStrangerbyAlbertCamus I disagree with your philosophy. I believe passion is a much bigger energy source than just getting off your ass. If you don’t enjoy what you do that fire will burn out. I have no interest in e-commerce. Good for Jeff he has made his money. I’m talking about something that transcends money. It’s respect for yourself. If you don’t have a passion for what you do it won’t last.
@TheStrangerbyAlbertCamus
@TheStrangerbyAlbertCamus Жыл бұрын
@@Iceman-xe7jo sure passion is good but not necessarily in the beginning … most of the time you develop passion for what you do over time, you don’t wake up with a passion (that’s why many people don’t know what they are passionate about) … how do you know you got passion for cooking if you never cooked anything.? Most of the time you’ll start by cooking here and there, if you see some benefits to it one day you decide that you’ll keep doing it and improve yourself then another day you say you got passion for cooking. And if you decide to “just get off your ass” every single day of your life with the purpose of achieving something … I guarantee you that over time you might become Unstoppable in whatever you put your mind into and will also become passionate about Getting Off your Ass That’s the difference between Jeff Bezos and his employees => when employees don’t “feel like it” they rest and chill but Bezos is already thinking about the next move

NDT just described principal component analysis, a fairly ubiquitous mathematical technique albeit in a very understnadable/rudimentary way. Psychologists use this technique (along with factor analysis) One may go further and create "sub-questions" on each of the categories to help score the category.

As a well established men from Europe let me give you an advice how to become wealthy and happy. Number 1. Do not spend your time watching TV or any form of legacy media . 2. Do not ever fall under the society ideas, you are the one that is the Captain of your boat nobody else. 3.Try to be insightful about people around you. Chances are there are many more intelligent people around you so lower your EGO and listen ! By mastering the art of listening you might hear a good idea that others will never pursue yet you might use that idea to improve this or that because wise men listen while dumb people only want to speak or answer while the question is not even being fully formed . 4. Do NOT make money as your goal in your mind , focus on good life and happy life and by doing so money comes as a default of your thoughts and actions . those that dwell only in ideas about money tend to lose them selves after they get it and never see the happy and good life.
