Yeah, empty people like you depend on luck. Richard Dawkins teaches the universe came from "literally nothing." Real science says nothing does nothing. Real science says if there was something there already it must fit with the evidence of what we know. We know the 1LT says there's a conservation of energy. It can change forms and neither can be created or destroyed. Creation cannot happen by natural means. The 2LT has various aspects, one being the universe is winding down, entropy. Usable energy is becoming less usable, so at one point usable energy was at its max. This all points to a supernatural creation, by a supernatural creator at a certain point in which matter, space and time were created. When I read how it can happen otherwise, ALL the fools resort to science-fiction. Once a supernatural creation is accepted, then the next step is finding proof of what supernatural power did it. We can't get anything from "literally nothing." We can't even get science without God. The laws of nature only can come from a Lawgiver, God.

Which memes?
@jeffjones6951
@jeffjones6951 3 жыл бұрын
@@NomadUrpagi Dawkins coined the term "meme" in his 1976 book "The Selfish Gene." Any unit of information that is passed on (like a gene) from one to another. Like the shoe-tying meme we learn at age 4 from our moms. The current internet craze for these silly pics with phrases is somewhat of a highjacking of the term. Similar to the perversion of "game theory."

He cares little about science. @@2fast2block Why should I listen to you? I've heard your answer hundreds of times. It does not explain the existence of anything at all (Universe, laws of nature, gods, etc) but merely says "let's say that a God just happened to be around the whole time and go from there". I don't pretend to explain why there is anything at all, but I don't see how making up a being who bumpstarts the whole thing is any more of an explanation, and it's very, perhaps infinitely, more complex than just saying "our Universe with its laws somehow exists". Being that I see no evidence of any gods, I'll go with Ockham and stick with my far simpler worldview, until I see evidence to the contrary. But I don't really care what people believe, as long as they behave nicely. Cheers from overcast Vienna, Scott

As I,ve admired and respected you Neil, what has happened to your audio?I struggled to hear what you were saying? I would,ve put all my passion and expertise into making sure that the entire planet heard my sentiments towards Richard Dawkins!

I wish there was this "serum" today, sadly I think it will be another 30 years or so before we can effectively hold aging in place (along with curing cancers, dementia and other degenerative diseases); it could be possible that some intermediary solutions will come up within the next 15 years to bridge that gap. After that, another 20 years would likely see us able to REVERSE aging and 20 years after that being able to tailor our bodies to an increasing extent so as to get rid of any significant nagging defects (like weak genes for inflammation and joints). I would very much like to see that day, 70 years from now.

He and Neil are empty.

@@2fast2block Actually it was Lawrence M Krauss that wrote a Universe from nothing. Cherry picking Scientific terms such as entropy does prove a designer atall. It's nothing but a man made idea built out of a realisation we are small and insignificant. You are just referring to the god of gaps.

@@2fast2block "Actually" you take take your religious bull and stick it where the sun doesn't shine. I merely wished someone who inspired me a happy birthday. Dawkins is not an Astophysicist last time I looked, although he, like all are welcome to their opinions, or at least follow the evidence presented by those who do know. He is more known for his work as an Evolutionary biologist and zoologist.

One of my heroes wishing the other (hero) a happy birthday! To me this video represents a shining star (astrophysics) bringing hope to a dark time when humanity is fighting for survival against an ever evolving pathogen (evolutionary biology).
