Traditional Marketing was once a king and still, it is. But people rushed to Digital Marketing because it was something new for everyone who haven't tried anything online. But now it's too much content so there will come a time when People will rush to Traditional Marketing once again and prefer to work with vendors from their region. A face-to-face meeting will have more value because today it is very easy to find 100 people from your region on the internet who provide the same service. But out of 100 people, only 1 will be fortunate to close the deal.

If I can add my tuppence... The tactical approach you might want to consider will involve starting with paid, but the more your authority grows the cheaper your advertising will become. What you save pump back into your marketing funnel and scale up.

Personally DO NOT be anxious about starting a business, organic methods, done right, are way more effective than buying ads. When you buy PPC or you buy stuff like Yelp ads, you stop reaping the benefits when you stop paying into it. Focus on methods that stay on your pages and increase your credibility and relevance in regards to proximity as well as what your target customer is searching for, I PROMISE, you will be okay (:

That's a great question. You're going to have to test wit them all but start with where you think your audience is online and what our goals are. Social media is typically more for creating awareness while Google is more conversion based.

Hello Neil, really nice video! I enjoy it a lot. I have a question about this field. I have a bachelor in Cinema Studies, because i love to produce and edit video content. Recently, i discovered the world of marketing and i finished the free digital marketing course from google. My interest in marketing got bigger. Is my bachelor usefull in marketing (i´m thinking of doing an master´s in marketing and maybe a post-graduate in digital marketing) ? A lot of companies ask for a bachelor (minimum) in marketing or communication, and cinema is a form of communication (video and writting). Should i do a bachelor in marketing? And do you think, i´m to old for marketing (i´m 30 years old)?

I think it's totally possible that you can get a job in Marketing with your degree :) As you said, it's very similar as it's a form of communication to a specific audience. I'd just get online and get some marketing certifications under your belt and apply to entry level positions to gain experience.
