Bohr atom model : Neils Bohr in 1913, modified Rutherford’s atom model in order to explain the stability of the atom and the emission of sharp spectral lines.
Bohr proposed the following postulates :
(i) An electron cannot revolve round the nucleus in all possible orbits. The electrons can revolve round the nucleus only in those allowed or permissible orbits for which the angular momentum of the electron is an integral multiple of h/2π(where h is Planck’s constant =6.626 × 10-34Js). These orbits are called stationary orbits or non radiating orbits and an electron revolving in these orbits does not radiate any energy.
If m and v are the mass and velocity of the electron in a permitted orbit of radius r then angular momentum of electron = mvr = nh/2π, where n is called principal quantum number and has the integral values 1,2,3…
This is called Bohr’s quantization condition.
(ii) An atom radiates energy, only when an electron jumps from a stationary orbit of higher energy to an orbit of lower energy. If the electron jumps from an orbit of energy E2 to an orbit of energy E1, a photon of energy hν= E2-E1 is emitted. This condition is called Bohr’s frequency condition.

Bohr's atomic model is wrong and simplicity. How could electrons know which orbit they should be in? Why should electrons change their orbits? In my extensive research in atomic, I discovered that an atom has only one electron-shell. Not multiple shells as claimed by Bohr. We have neglected the importance of nucleus for a long, long time. The nucleus is the one that molds and shapes the electron-shell as well as its orbitals. Basically, stationary electrons are surfing on top of the electron-shell. In other words, the mosaic of elastic magnetic and electric field is propping those electrons in allowing them to surf on it. As the ambient temperature changes, the nucleus has different saturations of photons that leading to the different flexure of unique nucleus structure that leading to modification to its orbital and electron-shell which indirectly implies that the atom has changed its physical and chemical characteristics as a result of the changes in temperature. Bohr's atomic model can't explain why and how an atom changes its chemical and physical characteristics due to changes in temperatures. If you are interested in real discoveries, I would recommend you to read my book, The Unification Theory - Volume One and you will be amazed with lots of new, interesting discoveries. In God I trust.

The absolute charge of an electron is much weaker than the one of a proton. Really? The existence of so many different types of super acids, mineral acids and weak acids tell us that the absolute charge of an electron turned out to be much weaker than the one of a proton otherwise all single proton or hydrogen cations must have similar causticity since all single protons or hydrogen cations should be exactly identical to one another. We reckon that the absolute charge of a proton is equal to the one of 20 electrons. Thus, this allows so many variations of single protons or hydrogen cations with different number of stationary electrons within their electron-shell and orbitals. Neils Bohr's atomic model is wrong simply because every atom has only one electron-shell not multiple electron-shell. In addition, the absolute charge of 20 electrons is equal to the one of a proton. On the other hand, nucleons are tiny, strong magnets that formation of nucleus structure will foster the existence of mosaic of elastic electric field and magnetic field of the nucleus that preventing stationary electrons from caving into the nucleus since the attractive force between those stationary electrons and protons within the nucleus is extremely strong. If you are interested in real discoveries, I would recommend you to read my book, The Unification Theory - Volume One and you will be amazed with lots of new, interesting discoveries. In God I trust.
