How dare you deprive your kids of obesity and disease ... We all know how good factory (Franken food) is for kids. How will they fit in if they are the only ones not requiring a walker and supplemental oxygen.. What I don't understand is other influencers whose kids DONT eat KETO/Carnivore. If it is good enough for you why not them?

Just stand your ground and tell your family and friends firmly that you do not want them to feed them grains and sugar because of their health. I just always told my kids those are special treat times. They weren’t something that we always did like most of the kids in the neighborhood who had dessert every single night. We never had dessert after dinner. No sugar. And sodas were only special treat when we went out and that wasn’t often. Just teach kids how to eat right and then they want to. Because they like being smarter about food in their peers.

I don’t think their diet is restrictive at all! They are both the picture of health - robust, energetic and HAPPY! You are doing a terrific job teaching them eating for health, but not forbidding them from foods you don’t eat. That would only make them want it all the time! They are learning to self-regulate their appetites which today too many kids can’t! Fabulous parenting on your part!🥰

You are ABSOLUTELY raising your children the right way, Neisha. Children need to be taught GOOD eating habits from infancy. Later on when they go to school they won't be eating crap like most of the other kids. Establishing good food habits and choices will set them up for the rest of their lives. I give my kids (7 & 10) the unfiltered truth about the dangers of certain foods. We have taught them to look at ingredients to the point where they try to outdo each other on product knowledge. Our two young boys have definitely been influenced by my ketogenic/low carb diet which is fantastic. However, the challenge is when they go to school where all the provided food is absolutely filled w/junk. We have them pack as often as possible as a result and the other kids think they’re weird! When I chaperone field trips I see 99% of the other kids bring nothing but Pringles, Cheetos, Capri Sun, and the list goes on and on. It’s terrible and you can clearly see why so many 7-10 year olds are already obese. It’s mind blowing to me! You’re doing the right things w/the kids and thank you for sharing. Start positive habits early!! 🙌🏻

Hi! I knew you feed your kids good food and don't deprive them. I've been watching your videos for a long while. The difference between you and a lot of parents (including my own parents and my relatives) is that food was used as a "reward" in my youth. And it feels like we were raised on sugar and so were my kids essentially. Using food for fuel and not as some special reward or something to make a big deal about is the best approach. You're doing a great job!

You reward your kids with play time and cuddles and storytime and all those things other than food which is awesome. My kids are 23 and 20 and they never once ate at a fast food restaurant ever, not even once, nor did they ever eat any junk food at home or parties. I got criticized for "depriving" them. I'm like, depriving them of what? Diabetes? Heart disease? Yeah, I'm such a bad mom. Now that they're adults (they still live with us thankfully) they still eat super healthy. We were always the "weird" family. But I wear that label proudly. The first 20 years of a child's life is when their bodies are developing and growing. That is the most important time to eat the healthiest. It will set them up for a lifetime of health and good habits. (I'm also a nutritionist and herbalist)
