Love using Shads on Neko rigs. Great explanation and so brilliant innovations. I use nail weights with craws to get them to swim backwards also.

I am going to try something similar to the last tip with a Crecraw to fish in under structure.

Great tips for a new rig mate. But surely in england those nail weights cannot be lead. As only allowed lead upto no8 shot. Tight lines.
@Thomhuntfishing Жыл бұрын
I think it’s only shot over size 8 banned in lead…. All ledger weights are lead aren’t they?
@markdavies8037 Жыл бұрын
Gotcha. I just assumed they were a lead substitute. Ta.

Hi, Great video again. what is the lemon meringue worm like lure you are setting up in the vid? cheers
@Thomhuntfishing4 жыл бұрын
I can’t remember! I think I got them from Bass Pro Store back in 2016! They’re a standard 5” ‘Senko’ worm maybe Gary Mamamoto?

@@Thomhuntfishing Cheers Thom, was particularly interested as you said they float? got lots of soft plastics I use for Bass fishing but thought they all sank. I'll have to test them! cheers
@Thomhuntfishing4 жыл бұрын
Oh well if you want floating ones definitely go for Zman lures then. They do a 2.75”, 4” and 6” Floating Senko style bait called a TRD

@@Thomhuntfishing cheers Thom I'll have a look.

Are neko worms and lures floating? Or does it matter? Can any material be used?

Do you like Westin gear by any chance!.seriously were do you get your Westin tackle from
@dudbolt97074 жыл бұрын
Little thing called sponsorship you get when your a good angler
@Thomhuntfishing4 жыл бұрын
Yes I’m fortunate to be soo sorted by Westin to get to use/test all their gear. I only ever recommend what works for me though. My reputation is just as important as any deal. I see a lot of anglers sell their soul for sponsorship deal and just recommend everything. That’s not my bag

I have found out that.,, When i fish neko both on the fall or when u take the worm home my big perch hook themself. i Never carry about a tight line. And why they hook themself is becouse i use a Kamasan dropshot hook, the blue one. That hook its very thin. I use nr2. on 4cm or 6cm stickbaits like Bike of bleak or x zone true centerstick. And buy the way, thoose expencive tungsten nails is a waste of money, I use a small screw from the hardware store. or a pappnubb in swedish haha Good video anyway.
@Thomhuntfishing4 жыл бұрын
Yep, I know what you mean about the cost of nail weights. Only thing about lead or tungsten is lead ones are easy to adjust/trim and tungsten are good for fishing deeper as they’re much smaller that lead, or a standard nail from the hardware store
