@@tamara40 Voting has never worked in ZIM, I think armed struggle should be the solution. Since 2008, elections have been rigged. In 2008, when the opposition won, results were held for two months without announcement.

I was raised there and i know that it will take some generations for people to begin to think of who they vote for. What do u want him to do when gvt swaps opposition elected MPs for zanu unelected ones. Chamisa took the imposter Tshabangu to court where case is still pending, but Tahabangu meanwhile is still allowed free reign. I said it during the last elections that the late Tsvangirai participated in, that it is a waste of time to think that MDC will remove the ZANU-PF democratically, I repeated that statemetnt when Chamisa formed the CCC, that there is no way ZANU-PF will allow itself to be embarrassed by leaving government. Unless the soldiers supports the people like in Mali and Burkina Faso, or the people go back to the bush, forget thinking that the ZANU-PF will ever relinquish power to any opposition party.

I have long realised that political parties don't work in Zimbabwe. The evidence was there from the way Rhodesian Governments treated African political parties to the way ZPF treated PF-ZAPU after independence. There is a legacy that says that political parties do not work in Zimbabwe. The post-independence mistake was to create the ZNA, a national institution, out of liberation war armies while political wings of liberations movements remain untouched and with one in Government. It was a mistake to think that these political wings of liberation movements could operate normally as political parties with no link to their armed wings in the security sector. Now we have a messed up political environment that cannot allow political parties to exist normally within Zimbabwe. So, Chamisa's realisation that political party formation is not a solution has taken him long to realise and yet was evident in the 1980s. We now need innovative ideas for re-engineering the political space in Zimbabwe.
