This week I am super excited to announce that in celebration of my birthday, July 13th and Gustav Klimt's birthday, July 14.... Joggles is launching a NEW set of 5x7 masks designed by me and inspired by Klimt's sketches of women. Klimt worked from live models and produced many many wonderful loose sketches on paper from those studio sessions. It is my hope that the fine line detail of these small masks from those sketches will take your card making to a new level of creativity!
I do not press all the way to the edges of the 5x7 plate when gel printing, that is key for the rough vignette look. Also, do not clean your plate between printing, allow the colors to build up and show up randomly and organically. Are you ready to be inspired? Because... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
