Nemesis Reborn finally awoke on 19th January 2024 when the team at Alton Towers Resort tested the coaster for the first time. In attendance were the BBC who ran a news report on the iconic milestone.

I consider it as essentially, a new coaster that has the same layout as Nemesis. Gonna be great to have a brand new modern B&M invert in the UK. Shame about the patronising reporting feom the BBC and other media outlets, no surprises there though.

Yeah that horrible dull white, with fake rust and real mold track looked great

I think it looks brilliant and suits its name. I remeber when it first released and you genuinely feared going on it. By today's standards it not all that now so it needed that new look to give it back it's edge. The younger generation coming up and seeing it for the first time will get that initial fear we all felt when we saw it for the first tike back in the 90s rather than seeing an old battered roller coaster.

@@Brock_in_the_North exactly. Plus with the red veins down the spine of the track, it's something unique to UK coaster paint jobs. It'll be just nice to have a modern up to date B&M invert in the UK as well

I was not adverse to them completely changing the ride but the red veins on black does look cheap and tacky. White with rust painted on was iconic and looked great. This looks naff af.

I've been saying this exact sentence ever since the new track was revealed, glad somebody agrees with me. The old one looked much better and more intimidating even
