I just saw your How TO use map and compass in detail video. Question. Going glamping, camping in a vehicle. My vehicle dies and forgot to take my phone. I remembered that a few miles away was a road. I taken out my compass to plot a bearing hopefully in the right direction. HOW DO I SET MY DECLINATIKN ON MY COMPASS WITHOUT THE MEANS OF HAVING THAT INFORMATION, SO I CAN GET BACK TO MY VEHICLE

Well declination is going to depend on where you are, so if you don't know that number for your location, your bearings can be 10 or even 20 degrees off. Whether you manually add / subtract the declination number or you set the adjustment in the bezel, you need to know what the declination adjustment number is. One thing you can do even if you don't know your declination number is plot backbearings to reverse your tracks. This will always work regardless of the declination number. I briefly covered backbearings in the video. Refer to The Map section. Keep in mind declination tells you where your reference direction (north) is. But that direction is not really relevant if you're just concerned with reversing your steps by following backbearings. Hope that helps!
