@@hitlast1Nemesis has always been good (exept against Caps) but otherwise always been good and is still one of the best mids, but its hard to find legit job after one of the most well known and biggest esports orgs around the world black lists you (FNATIC), then you get black listed from LEC one of the 3 major region cause lets be real, nemesis doesnt want to ruin his reputation by going NA, he would lose all his credibility. Its good that he grinds in Korea, maybe at some point some LEC team would pick him up if he choses so also. Would like to see Neme in a pro level again, at least he has standards by not wanting to go to NA at any point.

Since you're going to read these comments, Nemesis, I would like to thank you for streaming so much back when you were in FNC. I was going through a very tough period in my life and ended up tuning in a lot. Even though the times weren't the best for you, personally, with all the crap happening behind the scenes, you've helped me pull through my own rough patch. i think there is a phenomenon where a rational thinking approach where you analyse things without letting emotions get in the way can be misrepresented as being cold or mean or even toxic. i think this misrepresentation happens very often with the things nemesis says, to the point that the misrepresentation itself has become the mainstream view of him

He sounds like someone who has been hurt very deeply in the past and has put up the biggest wall between himself and the world so that he cannot get hurt anymore. He just accepts that the world is full of people who are always going to dislike and hurt him and that it will never change. It's sad, but also interesting to see this side of him. Thanks Ruddy for bringing out this side of him, and for asking questions that are potentially awkward for both the asker and the receiver. You are a great interviewer.

Yeah, perhaps that's true for dealing with randos online but that's not good for dealing with people you are working with. Discussing with people who disagree with you and the willingness to adapt your viewpoints is how you grow as a person. He's basically saying that if it's not exactly the way he likes it then he doesn't want it at all. He holds himself as the arbiter of truth. He says that he has plenty of happy moments but he can barely think of one and it ended up being pretty obscure. All pretty unhealthy mindsets to have. I like nemesis as a player and I agree with his self assessment of his talent. I hope he can moderate his mindset because it's really not good for his mental health.

His mentioned difficulty with explaining himself due to the language barrier, is something I have difficulty dealing with myself, but in my original language. It's like he said, he has the idea in his head, but there's suddenly a wall in front of your head when you want to elaborate on it and explain it. I often find myself doing "eehm, uuuhm", repeating my words to buy time to think of how to talk. Something that's been helping me recently is reading difficult books out loud.

The Jankos situation is a bit different bc he's at the end stage of his career, he has a good reputation and luckily he gets decent players in his team next season. Another example is Brokenblade. He was in Schalke who was last place btw and got picked up by G2 because he still did well eventhough the team was shit. All Nemesis has to do is join a team and perform well. Then he will get a team that's good and he will be able to change the narrative about him. Imagine if a programmer has an option to either work with a small company, do irrelevant projects that doesn't really put much of an impact on his resume OR to do independent projects, learn new programming languages + do other projects that showcase his talents that are needed in bigger companies. What do you think the programmer would choose? He'd go for the latter bc it makes sense. @@somnus4532 yes he's doing well in Korea but what he is doing in Korea isn't really comparable to learning a new programming language is it? Also a programmer isn't playing in a 5 man team. He says he wants a good team to play in but he's kind of waiting around for this team to magically appear. I dont know if you remember but 2019 G2 wasn't assembled overnight. They had Perkz, then they picked up Wunder and Jankos, another year later they got Caps and Miky. This was like 2 or 3 year long process to find the right parts. My point is at some point he needs to join a team if he actually plans on competing. If you dont get it we are going to have to agree to disagree.

Nemesis is obviously a "weirde" person to work with. Sure he is 100% more talkative in private settings. But he is also, on first contact, a pessimistic person which is for many people that hire a red flag. I love Nemesis and want him back in pro play, I also think that most of the LEC roasters are just friends hiring friends and not the best players. I understand why he wouldnt wanna join them, but thats the current situation. And I agree that he should just stream currently. Maybe in 1-2 season we get bwipo neme back in the LEC together, maybe with newcomers which Nemesis can respect

Love Neme. However I wanna ask WHERE is Hyli? Why isn't there any interview with the most fun to watch in the LEC - Hyli Baba? LEC would be so boring in the bot lane without Hyli. Check who was the most expensive player in the Caps's Dream team! Look what Upset and so many other players had said about Hyli! The most fun video with commnents about Hyli was of Wunder telling how Hyli stayed in the back lane bush for 2 min just to gank him and kill him with Yuumi in scrims.

Wish Jake pushed harder on if Nemesis said in draft that these champions arent playable (Galio/Velkoz) or if he simply stated it "a month before worlds" and let that be enough of a showing that he indeed did voice his opinion. Hearing him earlier, saying that he doesnt want to keep arguing over the same thing, has me thinking that he might very well be quiet in draft, thinking that his comment a month prior should still be popping up in the coaches head (which is absurd). But from an outside perspective we wont know. If, however, he simply went with it in draft due to the above, that is some crazy level of mental gymnastics and delusion. Genuinely hope im wrong.

Nemesis stated sometime on stream that he didn’t have much of a say on draft during FNC. During TES, he was adamant that Ori was OP, and that FNC should either blinded her or banned her everygame (those Ori games were the only 2 games they won vs TES). He was also adamant that Galio was a terrible champ (the likely reason Graves was funnelled gold into), but it’s clear that he had no say on the FNC coaches. He was mostly allocated champions to whatever the FNC players wanted him to play (source: YamatoCannon’s Bwipo interview).

most of the drafts back then players+staff could never agree with a draft where everyone would be happy. so often times, we would have these meetings hours before play and no conclusion was reached. 10 minutes before we play, usually people came to me to make decisions on what we play (knowing we will not all be happy). i was definitely NOT quiet in drafts, quite the opposite

Hope to see him back so that he can show that's it's not just ego speaking. Have more trust in him doing so than in Gillius showing he's better than Jankos, but still saying he's going to be significantly better than Larssen and Humanoid off the bat does set a high bar for the return whenever it may happen

1:07:23 it’s impossible for a bad player or good player to not be recognized by someone who is good because the good players are always looking for signs, basically litmus testing their peers to gauge their level at all times.
@ChoiceGG

Nemesis doesn’t need the praise of the public because it doesn’t mean anything to him. These people don’t even know what they’re praising from for other than maybe lifting a trophy. So when he says “other good players will know” he’s saying he only wants the praise or respect from those he considers his peers or greater than him.

My friends who are lower rank or have less understanding of the game than me have admitted that they have anxiety when they play with me because they essentially cannot hide their mistakes. They’re always being seen and in a way judged by me because they understand that I do know more about this game than they do.

@@ChoiceGG Reality is most "Fans" are lemmings. They play the game and make conclusions based on what they are told by talking heads and then they reshuffle all their opinions based on who wins or who lifts the glowy thing at the end. Which is why people suddenly thought that DRX were the best because they won worlds and rewrote the entirety of the 2022 season to make it so that DRX were actually good. You should only want praise of those who are comparable or maybe even slightly better than you. rRandoms in any situation are not worth the time half the time because ultimately if you started losing - those people are going to call you trash regardless of how you play.

Maybe it is just me but I see a lot of similarity with Neme and LS where LS is the one to consider others' viewpoint and lost his mind over it whereas Neme is in his lane, grinding away but probably wont be picked up solely due to his nature of being too analytical, logical and not communicative enough to thrive in a team enviroment (LEC or LCK)
@PeoplePleaser578
@PeoplePleaser578 11 ай бұрын
I mean he hasn't been picked up because he has actively turned down rosters for this very reason... he doesnt want to play with people who are not going to match up with what he wants or think about the game in a way he believes can work (As Bwipo said, if he thinks they are stupid then he wont want to play with them)
