James Anderson I came up with a method. If your 1x1 is left-weighted with your color, do U L U' L' Right-weighted, do U R U' R' If it's equal, do U2 D2 U2 D2 For the last layer, turn upside down and repeat.

Congrats! I have one of these too, and consider it the hardest puzzle I own. Interestingly, I didn't have to think of new algorithms either. I solved it layer-by-layer, but learned how to do every algorithm left, right, forwards, and backwards. That increases the flexibility by 4x, helping me circumvent situations with bandages while still attacking whatever piece I want to have move. Each solve still takes hours though, lol

That's funny, I've solved it a couple of times in the past, but picked it up last week to figure it out completely and find a solution that makes it easier. My way: 1. edges first, intuitive until maybe the last two have to be reoriented with frf'r' series. 2. Position corners. Once the edges are in position the same color arrows can be grouped by turning the middle layers. Then the corners can be switched more easily. 3. Then the corners are oriented correctly, using the same edge grouping using middle layers. Just started writing this before watching the video, let's see how you did it :)

Can you do a Y perm on this? Because it might not be that difficult if you use what I think is called the "Old Pochmann Method", If I am wrong correct me on what it's called and/or how to spell it. It's basically solve edges, setup move, Y perm, undo setup move, repeat.

I have a plan for the pocket but I’m having difficulty executing it and beyond that I have no idea. I just ordered an Eliac too which is gonna be nightmarish. Apart from planar puzzles, my bermuda jupiter cube got me for the longest time, but I figured a solution out for it after entirely too long.

So far I have solved every puzzle I have attempted. I'm not going to promise I didn't look it up for most of them, but I also don't have a big collection and I have never even seen most of the puzzles you have in person. The only puzzle I know of that I have solved without looking it up is a Mefferts gear cube, and I may or may not have brute forced it just a little bit on half of my solves. There are a few others, but I don't know the name, and they aren't even slightly difficult.

I have solved the Latch Cube. It is really hard. My basic strategy was to group all 4 black arrows on the top and bottom. Then I position the white arrows into place. Then I try to make the black arrows actually go where they are supposed to be. Only once I have all the arrows where an arrow of that color should be (regardless of the sticker color) do I try to get the edges into the right place. Once I have the edges, then I work on the corners. If that sounds like I left some steps out, well, that's why I can't solve it reliably. It is very hard for me to do. I've only gotten it once or twice. I have an app with this puzzle on it, btw. I don't have the physical puzzle.
