Real Talk: Groudon is easily one of the most impressive Pokémon ever to exist. It fought Kyogre to a stalemate until Rayquaza intervened to break up the fight. Why is that impressive? Groudon is 2x weak to Water. If we go with Primal Groudon, Groudon is then 4x weak to Water. Groudon fought to a stalemate a Legendary Pokémon that has a 4x advantage and it took yet another Legendary Pokémon intervening for the battle to end. Groudon never lost to Kyogre. On top of that, based on the in-game visual we have of their feud, Groudon stands on a little patch of land while Kyogre has the entire ocean at its disposal. Genuine question: Has any other Pokémon canonically ever done anything remotely as impressive?

Nemona is actually very similar to Kenpachi, in fact that they are both itching for a good battle. Nemona is probably one of if not the strongest trainer in the region, so very little if anyone can even challenge her. Geeta even says that in her battle against her, she was holding back. So when she finds a trainer who has the potential to be at her level of course, she would want to battle you so that she can have someone who can be at or surpass her own strength

Actually, I don’t think any player character has had a confirmed age aside from Red and his rival (confirmed as 11 in the manual) and technically Hilda and Hilbert, who are specially meant to be teenage protagonists. And sure, height doesn’t have bearing on age in fiction… except this is a video game. Where models have different heights. And all the adult models are roughly a certain height, while all the traditionally young models (standard student, even younger characters, etc) are specifically shorter. So yes. Height in fiction can very much be used as shorthand for age. In terms of the game being anime, then explain age lines and white hair. There are several characters that are clearly designed to be older people. Just as well as there are characters designed to be within other age groups. Again, I refer you to my point on height in video games.

Also to things like Taunt, Screech, etc >.> Cuz that's what Good as Gold says, it doesn't say Status Effects, it says Status Moves From Bulbapedia: Pokémon with this Ability are unaffected by other Pokémon's status moves: - Memento fails and the user does not faint. - Curse used by a Ghost-type fails without deducting HP from the user of Curse. - Strength Sap fails without even restoring the HP of the user. It does not block status moves that target themselves; the other side of the field, such as Stealth Rock; or all Pokémon, such as Haze.

7:35 He's not immune to status effects, he negates status type moves. You know how there's physical and special attacks? Every move that isn't one of those is a status move, which Gholdengo negates.
