Another great cover of SHOW-YA by NEMOPHILA is FAIRY where Miki mittan Tsunoda still on drums and Tamu covering Miki captain Nakamura on keyboards. Also mittan here is in her 50s but still going strong! It is Tamu's kit with mittan's setup and mittan is wearing Tamu's trademark frog shirt showing respect to Tamu.

Hehe, when I first saw this I wondered about the shirt, I did see it after on tamu's channel as well. Still don't know if it actually means anything or if tamu just likes it :)

i would imagine Mittan is playing it the same as she always has for 30 odd years lol live she is still just as good and her drum soloes are superb .Nemophila look upto Show-Ya as the mothers of all girl rock bands in Japan .Hara on Bass is a unsung hero often blending so well with Tamu its hard to tell them apart but here you see the talent up front .Great reaction .

I really like these few early Nemophila songs. In them, you can best hear the clear, simple voice of mayu. You can clearly hear all the techniques, modulations, vibrattas, ... Musically, there are also many surprises (like this bass solo). Rock Love (Show-Ya) is very interesting. The vocalists sing from different places: Keiko Terada (Show-Ya), mayu and Eye (Mary's Blood). You can watch this song in 3 versions (Eye and Keiko versions are on Mary's Blood and Show-Ya chanels). My favorite from this period is Feiry (Show-Ya cover), but I recommend them all, they're great. One note (I see it a lot in others, cutting off the last seconds), always watch Nemophila clips to the very end. Girls like to do something in the last second (watch the Misfits cover). I am waiting for the next reactions from Nemophila, Mary's Blod and others. Or maybe a reaction from even earlier years of mayu, with Lpstick and a transfer to the atmosphere of NWOBHM? Another Great Reaction! I Am the Storm must be a Classic, because the whole band seemed to be mouthing the words at some point during the song. Who knew that when you fall down a wormhole, you can see all of the other stuff that is swirling around in there that you couldn't see before. The trick may be how to find your way out . . . 🙂

The ladies of Show-Ya are simply heroes. They broke into hard rock when it wasn't something women did, and nurtured this entire crazy Japanese girl-metal scene. We owe them so much for what they've done. It is stupid that they aren't global stars like Metallica.
