People are cancelling her during 2016. If she did released Karma Album, she will be misunderstood further and that album will be the most flop album of her. She needs to get rid of her bad Reputation. You can see it on her music video "READY FOR IT" in which the two Taylor standing on each other face to face. True Taylor vs. Fake Taylor Her true self vs. Media's perception of her You can literally put a lot of meanings about it. She wants to destroyed her bad persona about her by the people and media. not quiet sure if this is another proof for the karma theory but: In her Lover music video you can see that the house has eight rooms in different colors, which match the theme color of each of her albums. In 2019 she had only seven albums but there are eight rooms and I think the orange room stands for Karma which hasn't been released yet.

there are actually 9 rooms - left - bottom -debut , middle -fearlesss, top - 1989 middle top- reputation and 2 rooms - that were folklore and evermore { which could have been the three years in advance thing } and right top-lover , middle -red , bottom- speak now buuuuuuttttttt the main door is the only one we don't see anything inside maybe that hints at karma since we don't know what's behind that door alsooooo if you look closely b/w the 1989 and evermore room there seems to be a diff smaller and still blue room maybe that could be related to karma because the ladder in that tiny room leads to the reputation room and the tiny room starts after 1989 indicating karma was supposed to be b/w 1989 and rep buuuuuttttttt this is most probably me clowing at 2 am 😭

‘Karma’ was also capitalised in the Vogue interview, with the subtitles. They fixed it a year later apparently, but for a year it randomly said “that Karma is real”, which is an odd ‘typo’ to make. Definitely intentional.

Here’s my opinion: I think she will announce that her reputation era was initially planned to be “karma” and still had tracks like look what you made me do and this is why we can’t have nice things, but all the other tracks were forced to be put into the vault and re direct the album to “reputation” since she was in need for a come back from public and press. So having “karma” would not make her look good and adding songs about Joe would keep her on brand. Also gonna include another theory onto why karma will be released as reputations’ Taylor’s version: in the man music video, it’s sprayed as orange and then black. And I think that the songs she MIGHT have written for that would not make sense outside of the OUTRAGE she and swifties felt because of the drama that happened in 2016 and we DO NOT want her to go through any more drama of THAT caliber again just so that an album "fits" the narrative. that is why I would be OK with her releasing it as vault tracks. I think this is the most likely explanation. There was an extra year between 1989 and Rep release, in which all that snake stuff happened. I think the initial plan was to release the album as "Karma" but plans changed and the album BECAME what we know as Rep, and there are probably A LOT of vault songs. I just hope someday we find out what the truth is!

Karma was written in both black and orange in The Man music video. Reputation was painted onto an airplane. Black/orange + airplane Airplanes contain a black box whose actual colour is orange. A black box is essentially a flight recorder... like an album containing records. It often says "do not open" on black boxes like how the album was never released to the public. I think this is why she used the airplane analogy and the black/orange colors. The wing being cut off could mean the plane crashed (the era was scrapped) and we could potentially recover the orange black box at some point and hear the recordings/songs. Given how Karma was written twice with 1989, it probably will be part of the 1989 re-release. (Edit: Now I think it's more likely it's song will be part of Reputation TV's vault tracks)

I think scrapping Karma was mostly Taylor's idea. Yes there definitely was some press from label too, that ''you have horrible reputation now, everybody hates you, so you can't release an album right now, because maybe it'd flop and we won't get any money'' But as we saw in Miss Americana how she said how bad her mental health was at the time and she needed to completely change her state of mind. So i think it was more Taylor's idea to scrap that album.

Not only that but I feel like her label didn’t actually control her too much in the music department because she was strong willed when it came to that and pushed to do the music she wanted to. 1989 is a perfect example of that because she has talked about how her label tried to tell her it would be a bad idea to change genres after being known for country for many years but she pushed for it and got her pop album put out. So I think she was more-so the one who halted karma if anything. Or maybe a bit of both her and the label.

I remember first hearing the Airplane part of the Karma theory and just feeling everything click into place. That Taylor on the Airplane was BOTHERING me for years. When the music video first released, I just figured that we'd see her wear that outfit in a Rep music video, as some foreshadowing, but we never got anything so it was haunting me for years. I've always believed there was lost music between 1989 and reputation because she's dated Calvin Harris for a year, and I find it hard to believe there would be no music about him at all. Like, she wrote a beautiful song like Enchanted about someone she briefly met, but she wouldn't write a song about a man she dated for a year? I also would love for Taylor to do a pop-punk album, so if Karma ever comes out, I hope it's in that genre. Karma is sooo real. When I read the theory on what the plane being spray painted meant, so much CLICKED. My theory is that a punk Taylor era exists, and when she got bad press the label killed it citing too much risk while her "reputation" is bad. Part of why she takes a dig at them in LWYMMD video (lifting the motorcycles). She was done with people not trusting her judgement after all the success of 1989. As if to say: "I CARRY this label, and they're not going to let me release this thing I made? Fine. Here's Reputation." im convinced that karma was supposed to be a pop rock album and she had already written and recorded it during the 1989 era (and was dropping hints like the ones that you said and also singing rock version of her songs in concerts), she was ready to release it in 2016 but with everything that happened she had to go out of the public eye. during the time when we didnt see her, she worked on herself and started writing other songs (also at this point she had already met Joe and was writing songs about him). so we're a year later and she's ready to release a new album but at this point she's in a better mental state and it doesn't seems right to release karma. so she releases reputation with a few songs from karma and the songs that she has written in this time. then she went in the lover era and those songs aren't right for the moment anymore. anyway, i hope that she's gonna release it as a taylor's version because i would love a rock album from her

Okay so rock was very popular in the 90's and her bleachella look in 2016 was very 90's inspired and kinda rock inspired also. What I think a lot of people don't realize is her bleachella era is actually when she was in the thickest part of her eating disorder. We have zero music videos from the time as well & it could be related to her appearance. Maybe she didn't like how she looked during this time, maybe she didn't have the strength for a tour, let alone an album. She's still very sensitive about this topic so i doubt we'll ever hear her speak more on how her disordered eating escalated to an eating disorder but iykyk, ED effect every part of your mental health. At 11:13 In the Man scene, you can notice that so far Taylor has dropped albums in the clockwise direction of the sequence of graffiti on the wall. Like Fearless (TV) being the first one, followed by Red (TV), then Speak Now (TV)(possibly), Reputation (TV), Taylor Swift (TV) and 1989 (TV) being the last re-recorded TV album. And since Karma is after 1989 (TV) in the clockwise direction, I think it could be the last album released (TS10 that was meant to be TS6...at least as per the theory.)

Honestly she’s not a rock artist. I’ve been a fan since early 2007 and I don’t think she knows what real rock is. Not glam rock or pop rock. The Man music video confirms Karma's existence. We know these re-recordings surround this lost album and I believe this album marks the end of everything. It will tie up loose ends and shut down whatever BMR has left against her. Question is... when will she release it? I have a feeling its already re-recorded, mixed/produced, mastered, and awaiting printing (Because its not held down by the 5 year contract constraints since it wasnt an official album) and once her final re-recording drops, it will come crashing down.

i would love to see Karma as a B side to 1989! i really hope she does release this one. to me it seems like Karma was written while she was kind of away from the public eye and then reputation was also written during that time, but later. idk if this makes sense but i see both of them kind of as the healing process for her, with Karma being edgy and reputation being more accepting. I do think for songs like LWYMMD and Ready For It she took those from Karma, and used the more calm stuff for reputation. anyway just my thoughts, i would love to see this released! great video! :)

Honestly believe that Karma is real. I'm assuming that since it was only recently revealed that she was waiting for the go signal for her to be able to legally re-record 1989 and rep, she might still be waiting for the go signal to legally re-record Karma. Since she's also not yet re-recording her debut album, there might be some legal clauses she's trying to work around or work through to make the re-recordings be more special. Knowing Taylor, she's got a plan for everything, so sitting back and watching her genius mind unfold is always a treat no matter how long it takes to bring to fruition.

Her 1989 rereleases thus far kinda play into this theory. Wildest Dreams, in title and lyrics (say you’ll see me again, even if it’s just in your wildest dreams) could allude to how she once felt Karma would never see the light of day, and there’s a lot of sunset imagery (closing of chapter, also orange visually), plus the mv thumbnail is orange. Obviously wouldn’t have been written for this purpose, but could have retroactively been chosen. This Love has some lyrics that fit too. “This love is good, this love is bad, this love is alive, back from the dead” kinda describes a great album grounded for being too “bad” that’s being resurrected. Again, wouldn’t have been written with this in mind, but they could definitely have been repurposed to hint at an upcoming release connected to the 1989 rerelease

Oh I’m sure there are unreleased songs, and this is a very good theory. I remember reading an article from around 2015 or 2016 that Austin Swift gave. In it he said that at that point he was aware of 11 songs that Taylor had already written for her new album. When reputation finally came out, I was surprised how many of the songs had been written since after she and Joe had gotten together, and after that interview would have been given. I was like… these aren’t the songs he was talking about. These are new. Where are the songs he was talking about???

There's always a rock element to her music especially from SN era..& she even experiment with IKYWT & WNEGBT during 1989 tour..& ALL signs/hints/easter eggs like the hair bleach, her wardrobe & other things were pointing towards 'Karma'...but like we all know, the world went against her after that & we ends up getting the Reputation instead. ..but..the fact that the 'bleach' & her dressing styles during that 'particular' period DIDN'T matched ANY album era's makes u REALLY wonder becoz her hair, styles, ALWAYS matched with her albums.. I couldn’t agree more!! Your Easter Egg investigation is excellent and YES it makes sense. Yes Karma needs to come out. She has talked about wanting to work with Eminem (one of her favourite artists), and that collab wouldn’t fit within her current album progression. BUT she has stated in interviews that she does want to do more rap even if it’s (at first) an unpopular idea. Looking back In 2016 she was reeling from that horrible period of time when she was under attack on many fronts (yes bleachella). Her therapy has been ALWAYS been writing (killer) songs. I think she has matured but she is still done with people constantly trying to put her down AND passing judgement on her personal life constantly! Even the recent reaction of fans to her Matt Healy thing. She can have a post long term relationship fling (if it was… people are too pushy into her privacy). She just can’t catch a break from media and even her fans, and has every reason to be angry. Let it rip Taylor!!

Just some extra things that hopefully you will see and mention in a video. There are so many songs that mention karma and the lines in those songs always sound like they could be portrayed as more rocky and pinky than the song is, for example " karma is my boyfriend" or "karma is a cat" I could totally hear being more rock like so what I'm thinking is maybe she didn't want these lyrics to go to waste and used them in reputation and other eras etc. Also you mentioned orange as karma and I'm now realizing around that time she wore a ton of orange which I'm thinking Easter egg? Also now she is releasing 1989 Taylor version (everyone thinks so at least its pretty obvious) that perhaps this double album thing will happen or we will get more karma clues. Thanks for the video! I think this is a solid theory (more so than some of the other swifty theories that are sort of for fun). I think it was very evident after 1989 that taylor was entering a new era with how drastically her style changed and took on a punk look. Since her style shifted way way before reputation probably ever existed, I think she was beginning to enter the next era of Karma.

She released albums in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. She didn't in 2016 because of the drama, which is sad becuase it would have been the album of her first 10 years of career. BUT, as you said, it's impossible she didn't write songs between 2014 and 2016, so maybe she had an album planned for 2016. And we should keep in mind that Rep was written after the drama, so it makes sense that Karma is true

in the bejeweled music video, the elevator buttons are said to be her albums 1-9 being debut to evermore, and the rest are her rerecords' order including midnights. the last button is orange, and karma's supposed color is orange. I think that the man music video and the bejewelled music video both hint to after all the rerecords, Karma will be released.
