Ms Cherry, You are definitely part of my adolescence. Buffalo stance what a great great song. I just wanted to say hi and lift you up because you were the best role model. Homebrew is still one of my top top most awesome of all time albums I’ve ever had the pleasure of coming across. I’m really sorry for the lymes disease I know it slowed you down and I think you ended up in Sweden but how do you been able to continue on I would’ve had you right by my side because you are a bad chick bad meaning awesome as all hell. Homebrew is a masterpiece and I honor it and I say thank you. Oh I think we need to raise up our little women a little bit better than we kind of have been And you were so good in that respect. Such a wonderful role model. Beautiful strong confident intelligent capable helpful beautiful like thank you so much for this thank you for your gift and sharing it with everybody. I hold onto you and I’m never gonna let you go I love you thank you so much for everything

NENEH CHERRY - HOMEBREW Neneh Mariann Karlsson (born 10 March 1964), better known as Neneh Cherry, is a Swedish-British singer-songwriter, rapper, occasional DJ and broadcaster. Her musical career started in London in the early 1980s, where she performed in a number of punk and post-punk bands in her youth, including the Slits and Rip Rig + Panic. Cherry has released five studio albums under her own name. Her first, Raw Like Sushi, was released in 1989 and peaked at number three on the UK Album Chart, thanks in large part to the worldwide hit single "Buffalo Stance". Her second studio album was 1992's Homebrew. Four years later she released Man, with her next studio album, Blank Project, coming in 2014. Her most recent album, Broken Politics, was released in 2018. In addition to releasing these studio albums, she formed the band cirKus in 2006 and has collaborated with the Thing, releasing an album entitled The Cherry Thing in 2012. Cherry has won two Brit Awards and an MTV Europe Music Award (with Youssou N'Dour). She has also been nominated for a Grammy Award. Cherry moved to the United Kingdom when she was 15, in the midst of the punk era, and she remembers finding "her people" there. Cherry had met Tessa Pollitt, Viv Albertine and Ari Up from the Slits earlier as her stepfather, Don Cherry, was touring with them and took the 15-year-old Neneh along. She and Ari lived in a squat in Battersea. She felt at home, after ending up there because The Slits invited Don Cherry to go on tour with them with Prince Hammer and Creation Rebel. In London, Cherry joined the punk rock band The Cherries. She moved through several bands, including the Slits, New Age Steppers, Rip Rig + Panic, and Float Up CP. She also DJ'd, playing early rap music on the reggae pirate Dread Broadcasting Corporation. Cherry has stated that she found her voice singing along with Poly Styrene from X-Ray Spex. She grew up in a musical family; she remembers singing with her father at the piano. ❤️💯‼️ And I have the great honor of having two CD-albums by this talented artist, singer, songwriter and producer in my discography. So I have the first studio CD-Album, RAW LIKE SUSHI (1989), then I have the previously mentioned CD-Album, HOMEBREW (1992). Only one copy of each CD-Album. At least for a while. Congratulations, Neneh Cherry, on your two excellent studio works! You deserve the success you had, and still have, in your professional career as a music artist! ❤️💯‼️ Homebrew is the second studio album by Swedish musician Neneh Cherry. It was released in 1992 via Circa Records. The album features several different genres, including between jazz, funk and trip hop. The album photography was by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. Recording sessions took place at Cherry Bear Studios in London and at the Cherry Bear Mobile, except "Sassy" was additionally recorded at Grapehouse Studios in Copenhagen and "Trout" was additionally recorded at Power Play Studios in New York. Gang Starr co-wrote and produced "Sassy" and "I Ain't Gone Under Yet". Geoff Barrow wrote and produced "Somedays". "Trout" features a guitar riff replayed by Jonny Dollar from Steppenwolf's version of "The Pusher", and the drum track by John Bonham from "When the Levee Breaks". "Buddy X" was allegedly inspired by Lenny Kravitz. It was later remixed by Falcon & Fabian and featured Notorious B.I.G. and also remixed by the Dreem Teem and Masters at Work. The track "Move with Me" later appeared on the soundtrack of the 1993 film Sliver, while a dub version of the song appears on the soundtrack of the 1991 Wim Wenders film Until the End of the World. The track 'Red Paint' is a reinterpretation of a true story told to Neneh by her late mother Moki Cherry. UK Albums (OCC) 27 ❤️💯‼️

MONEY LOVE With the power that some lovin' can bring Makes the mountain high stacks of money and things That I need change and fade away sometimes When I look in the mirror... I see a little clearer... I am what I am and you are you too Do you like what you see? Do you like yourself? [Chorus:] Money love and gold payments We spend our lives thinking they are saviours Money talks but love is for real... And you know that… Then a picture comes into my mind Everybody knows you need some money sometimes Could it be that we need loving to survive? So look into my eyes… I won't tell you lies… Who do you see? Do you see yourself? Do you like what you see? Do you like yourself? [Chorus] [Rap Verse:] So how do we drink in a sinking ship? How do we float in a sinking boat? How do we rock when the rock is rollin'? Give me a float & keep the mool a rollin'?
