Thank you, very good info. This is my father’s native place and our kuladevam is Nellikulam Kerai Bhagavathi. I have visited the temple as a child. My parents and uncle’s families mostly visit every year. I’ll plan to visit with my children in the near future.

I am the great grand daughter of Ganapathi Dikshithar who was the first person to reside in this village. I would like to add that Cochin Maharaja when he visited Nemmara was welcomed with poorna Kumbam and the Maharaja had asked Dikshithar what he wanted for the welfare of village. He asked for a Veda Patashala and the same was arranged immediately by the Maharaja with Nellu for the whole year and 10/- Rs. as Dakshina. Such was the respect for learned Vedic scholars.

Iam Geetha Sankaran, my husband's, native place and my father in law name Seshadri Sharma, and early my father in law was doing pooja in Navneeth krishna temple and after him my husband also done, now my Husband also no more and he expired on 2017when he was alive we used to see the temple andour kuldevi is Nellikulagara temple, and very happy to see our native place

I am sriram i belong to this village( Nemmara ). My humble suggestion to the admin is to rename Nemmara old gramam to Nemmara Pazhayagramam or Nemmara Old village. Nemmara Pazhayagramam is the official name. thanks.

As per this the Moopil Nair gave the land with a condition that the Brahmins of old Village giving due respect to the agreement. WITH DUE RESPECT I REGRET TO STATE THAT ONLY FEW ARE VISITING . MOOLASTHANAM OF NELLIKULATHAMMA SITUATED IN AYALUR ROAD.( WHICH IS STILL MANAGED BY MOOPIL NAIR FAMILY).
