Yes, Grubby only sees from pro gamer perspective, but there are people who plays casually for fun, he has to consider that not bias his own likings. Grubby said he does not care about graphics, which is unacceptable. The game is 20 year old and has to get new graphics for new players and casual players.

To do the direct play thing, just hit multiplayer and the button at the bottom right near your icon, remember the settings you left off, game mode, race, preferred maps, you don't have to do a thousand things like it says, only if you want to change other things. I don't know how distracted you must be to not see it.

I Searched 4v4 RT, yesterday. I got 3v4 RT LOL. Happen twice. It was crazy never seen it. It showed 3v4 on the loading screen too. Got the replays.

Grubby is biased, weather he likes it or not he has some skin in the game, pwn intended, because he made a video where he implied he had access and knowledge before anyone about the game, not only that, this is the second time he endorses the brand "reforged" even if he later critizised the final product. Neo has been clear that he is grateful that they are even trying to rapair the game and giving some atention to such an old game, but even he is being too generous with blizzard. The reality is that they are still charging you for the remaster and stripping you the ability to play the original game even if you do not but reforged, the client is not the same and the features are still not the same as the original game. I own the original hard copies of the game and even when I use my original hard copies with its keys I cannot play the game without it being upgraded, I need to go out of my way to avoid being connected to the internet to be able to play the game with the base TFT patch version. My problem is that Blizzard is forcing me to engage with their new remastered game that I don't wanna endorse, even if I don't own reforged they force me to play with other that have it and all the menus and interfaces are bombarding me with reforged options I don't want. They should have done separated games rather than forcing people to play reforged, not only that, they are charging you a very good amount of money for an unfinished and defective product and they constantly engage in anti consumer practices like false advertising and just cutting content you already payed for. So when they use AI it is more than argueably another nail in the coffin, specially if they are using it in such a bad way, not only firing the old 2d artists but getting the worse AI possible to upgrade all the 2d sprites and textures used in the game and selling it as an actual feature, where you can barely see any difference between the original and the HD texture. This time is not as bad as the first time they launched reforged, but is still a bad product, they are not even giving you the chance to upgrade the textures and sprites in the original engine, forcing you to engage with the shitty reforged engine that drops the frame rate to a third at best for a game using old as f#$% textures. My point is that Grubby needs to stop gaslighting his audience, even he does not play with the new engine because they didn't add the option to switch between the old to the new audio. Even tho I won't stop watching his content (because there is little content about WC3) I don't like how hipocrite he is, he is comparable to Bellular Gaming on how much he shills for Blizzard, not necessarily because they pay him, but because he believes he needs to defend the shitty product he base his content on.

One of the daydreams we had about 2.0 is that they realize that the Editor is a great strength of War3 and try to create a Roblox-like platform out of War3. (Of course we knew that this was a 99.99999% unlikely dream, but a man can dream!). I know the guy who was responsible for the World Editor during the first reforging years, and adding more features, overhauling it, or whatever was never really in scope. They strapped on LUA and a couple of cool natives (a lot of them buggy, and it is missing a lot of stuff), but I think there is nobody working for blizzard, especially at a leadership position that could evaluate the World Editor or design a better one, or feel the need to hire some dude to design a better one.

Ofc they are old and all but they're still very powerful tool, just very technical to use since that complexity is what allows complex stuffs to be made. But hey any improvement to that thing would always be welcomed

i disagree, i think world editor is good as it as, the only thing they should do with world editor is add more of the necessary functions that SHOULD be in the editor so that mappers don't have to resort to roundabout ways of achieving the results they want, good thing is that blizzard is adding those functions i checked the editor recently, i think there should be a JASS section in the editor for those who don't want to search the JASS functions in the browser

@@michalvrabec454 You are using the editor wrong. There is a community-made plugin for it every serious modder should use. It is called TESH If you don't know / use it, you need to. Makes life infinitely easier. But yeah, something like that should definitely be part of the basic editor.

The unit skins is a weird thing to be excited about, they aren't even new skins. They've been in the editor since Deforged came out. It's just such a shame what this project could have been....I would have KILLED for Warcraft 3 to get new campaigns or content like Starcraft 2's co-op commanders. It's not like I'm unwilling to support Blizzard, they just need to treat this project with the respect it deserves. *Sigh* I miss old Blizzard...

Lemon sky models are fucking amazing. I won't change my mind on that. I prefer it over original Warcraft 3, but I play single player not multiplayer. Reforged is a reimagining of warcraft from a cinematic perspective (Like wrath of the lich king cinematic) it is not meant to look like warcraft 3 the base game, and it never was. It was meant to be a remake with modern cinematic styles in mind. I think that's fine, you aren't forced to play the new graphics. But objectively, they aren't bad! they are just different. The style is consistent, the models are more detailed and so forth. I don't like that all the classic players like grubby is just like "Remove reforged" LIKE WHY? you aren't even playing on those graphics!
