Homay another great video, as always you explain everything so well, and with such clarity . I've had Una Corda for a while as part of Komplete 12, never realised it's so versatile, thanks you so much for enlightening me. Look forward to your next video, you're such an inspiration. Take care, stay safe, best wishes Terry xxx

Been using NI for years, and unfortunately fell off the planet for a while. B4II, and Akoustik Piano were my go-to's. Seeing all the great new stuff NI has, looks like a new spark has been ignited. Thanks to the presenter Homay and NI, for waking me up, and having hope to a new generation of composers an creators - besides just doing what's expediently popular...(not to say that's a BAD thing!). ..also, NI's help in recovering my old account and product SN's, is a testament to their loyalty to us creators. Thanks NI!

Hey Spitfire why is it that the interface is blue on this video and mine is black & white? I do have the blue interface (from the earlier version before the update) but ever since the library got an update with the new Kontakt library tab, mine shows black. Homey is using blue yet she's pulling from the library tab. Do I have the latest version? Not a major detail but please explain. Thanks.

What are the controllers to the left and above the keyboard?
@kavokei13374 жыл бұрын
To the left of the keyboard is module that is part of the Doepfer LMK4+ keyboard (pitch bend, mod wheel, etc) - I can't see anything else next to it, sorry. Above left is a Kenton Control Freak (sadly no longer in production) which Homay is using to control Expression and Dynamics parameters.

@@lolsucks3599 I hate this shift to pay per month. I hate having something I pay every month for. I much, much, much MUCH prefer to just pay the whole thing out right and have it for ever. What happens when K12 is discontinued and K13 comes? I have to pay extra to rent K13? What if I don't need the new products? I'm still on K11 because i didn't need anything from K12. But even if they don't force you to pay more per month because of the new products, I hate having something I'm paying every month for. Part of it is because you'll end up paying way more for it in the long run, part of it because I just want to pay the whole thing and be done, I don't have to think about it ever again. I don't need to sit down and think every month if I'm going to use Kontakt or some libraries this month to decide if I'm going to pay this month or not. I made some money, I bought it and I'm done, whenever I want to use it it's there. Even if it's in 5 years from now, it's mine, I payed for it. Rent to own makes no sense in products you are going to use frequently. I undertand it partly if it's on something you need to use once of twice, but Komplete? Come on, you're not going to use Kontakt every month?

@@Agiyi I never heard something so stupid dude. Of course Sellers always offer two options to buy stuff, at once or in monthly rates.
@Agiyi4 жыл бұрын
@@lolsucks3599 if by "always" you mean "most of the times up until now", you are correct. Dude, you can't deny that there is a shift towards pay per month subscriptions in the market these days, as companies realize that they have more income this way than selling one thing outright. Even features in cars are becoming subscription based for god's sake! Tesla (i think, i'm 85% sure it's tesla) has heated seats subscription for their cars, you buy the car with all the hardware and then you pay a monthly fee to use it. I've heard about other apps in phones as well that they were payed apps and now they are purely subscription based, so it doesn't matter if you had bought it, now you have to pay for it every month. So yeah, most of the times they offer a perpetual license of a monthly license. I'm just afraid that soon there won't be a perpetual license and the monthly license would be the only option. P.S. if you think I'm crazy, why don't you go ahead and buy a perpetual license for Photoshop? Oh, right, you can't, you can only buy a monthly subscription for Creative Cloud... I'm not sure, she understands, what "neoclassical music" is.....
@YouzTube994 жыл бұрын
@JPriceDK How do you define it?
@JPriceDK4 жыл бұрын
@@YouzTube99 Well, if you look it up: Neoclassicism in music was a twentieth century development, particularly popular in the period between the two World Wars, in which composers drew inspiration from music of the eighteenth century. Some of the inspiring canon was drawn as much from the Baroque period as the Classical period - for this reason, music which draws influence specifically from the Baroque is sometimes termed Igor Stravinsky, Paul Hindemith, Sergei Prokofiev, and Béla Bartók are usually listed as the most important composers in this mode.
@XiyuYang4 жыл бұрын
Yeah she was probably referring to Modern Classical
@YouzTube994 жыл бұрын
@@JPriceDK Thanks for your detailed reply. I too associate 'Neoclassical' with certain composers and works published from WWI to mid-century. That's why the use of the term in the subject line of this vid puzzled me. It was very likely (mis)used by young folk who are not aware of its previous application.
