I like that this is a relatively simple song instead of a 60 track behemoth....it's much easier to watch and learn from.

Homay! Thank you for creating this (and other) video. I especially appreciate the way you teach and break-down the different areas of the instrument articulations. For example, the way you talk about chord mode usage with the ostinatum articulation is perfect! Also, one of my favorite section is at the bar 23 (1:08 and 14:14) mark of the video. The cello melody is very nice! I've been composing for film, TV and games since 2013 and I love how I'm still learning new things everyday. LOL ;)

Those fools are just trying to stunt on normal people. This one guy used 100 tracks, and I can't quite make out more than 10 instruments.
@Tremendouz
@Tremendouz 5 жыл бұрын
@@captainvoluntaryistthestat3207 100 tracks isn't even a lot if you divide different articulations to their own tracks (first violins legato, first violins spiccato, first violins tremolo etc.). It all depends on the approach, you can get great sounds with far fewer tracks but that doesn't mean having 100 tracks is useless.

A very nice piece which I shall use to inspire me. Thanks for sharing it. I bought Eric Whitacre strings, Albion one and Solo Strings in the promotion and I'm very pleased with them. A suggestion though in the EWC GUI. It is difficult to read being white writing not a bold font on grey background and small writing. Could it have a full screen option (something that Kontakt could take on board too) and user definable colour scheme or at least be more contrasty and easier to read. This doesn't detract from the great sounds of the libraries.
