How much was it??? I want to run a small.production of pcbs for a bluetooth keyboard. Around 500 boards. Do you think this machine can handle it??

These machines are on eBay. Neoden also now has Neoden model 4 and model 7. One of my associates bought the model 4 which has dual vision cameras and is a significant improvement over the older model 3 that I have.

We have this same machine at the Tinkermill Makerspace in Longmont. I was wondering, you mention in the video you can restart from any circuit or component. I have not been able to figure out how to do that. Can you explain how to do this? It would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

+Patrick Van Oosterwijck Patrick, you are right, the manual is a little vague as to how this is done. In my manual the instruction is on page 30 and is called "Advanced Start Function (History Record)" but that section is not very clear so after I figured it out I wrote down the key sequence. OK so to start mid program like after a jam or mis-feed here is the key sequence: LOAD, CONFIG, Select Circuit, Select Component, TEST, OK, then STEP or START I hope this helps!

Thanks! I'll have to try that in my next run.

I'm so curious.... What do you have under the cover of head ? I'd like to see this part without this cover. ;)

+Luis A P Barbosa Not sure exactly what you are asking but if you are referring to the pick and place head then I can tell you that there are two head and each has a vacuum and pressure pump and each also has a rotation stepper. There are several included suction nozzles that are interchangeable. The nozzles have a spring load so that is how they get away without precision z-axis. I found this machine very useful but it does not have vision so I do not recommend if you expect 100% error free production.

+MathIndy I'd like to see a photo or video of the head without the white plastic cover. Thank you for your atention.

Hello, just bought one of these machines and I am wondering if you would do me a HUGE favor and send me a link to that modified .ulp you made? I am currently facing the somewhat daunting task of programming this thing manually and I have over 300 locations to do. It would be greatly appreciated!
@MathIndy7 жыл бұрын
I will post the *.ulp file shortly. In the mean time be sure to build your library parts in accordance with this excellent white paper from Screaming Circuits: www.screamingcircuits.com/assets/pdfs/understanding-the-centroid.pdf In particular, make sure you are consistent with your centroid and rotation locations.

Can you place aluminum capacitors with this machine? The round Panasonic types such as Digikey# PCE3880CT-ND
@MathIndy8 жыл бұрын
+Scott Rider I have not tried aluminum capacitors but don't see why it would not work as long as the tape height is under the maximum allowed 5mm. The tape width also cannot be outside of 8, 12, 16, or 24 mm as this is the extent of what is allowed. I think they are offering this model now with vision--vision would definitely improve this otherwise good machine.

+MathIndy Hi, thanks. Another Q: what filesystem does the SD card use? Can I for example edit stack files in a spreadsheet on a Windows box, save to SD then read the SD in the pnp?
@lientjenoot49895 жыл бұрын
@@OldCrowCS80 he never answered and I don't know if you still want to know but for other people out there: Yes, it's all put on a sd-card and you can adjust the files with excel. They use .scv
