I just got into Neofly and watched all your tutorials so far (with 1.5x speed ;-), time is money). Really great to start from. I don't think I would have know about exploration without the tutorial, can't wait to try it myself. Please keep doing the tutorial, it's worth it!

Thanks for the tutorial Alan - I don't think anyone else has done one on the AI pilots and I wanted to know how it operated before investing my 10 Euro 🙂. Your 4 part Tutorials are succinct and really helpful. Thank you for taking the time to make them.

Oh its definitely worth the 10 euro. To be honest the time I've spent on specific missions around the world, it's worth a ton more. This for me is THE best add-on you can you can get for MSFS.

thanks for your kind words. Yeah.. I wasnt sure whether to leave it there and let folks work it out themselves or not. I also got a new 'puter so needed to reinstall EVERYTHING. I'm up to speed now and as there is a modicum of demand by the looks of it I'll be producing the next 'AI Levelling Up' video next week.

Hi all. Thanks a lot for ur video's Alan, it was very helpful for me to get started with this wonderful add-on. I am now qualified for every airplane, have 5 pilots in service and exploring the whole world with my own plane. I gave all of my pilots the legendary DC-3 and they are making around 5M per day now. Meanwhile I am flying the Cessna Caravan at airports from A to D trying to make a world tour. Love neofly 4, grts.

That's great to hear! Makes my efforts seem well worthwhile. I've currently got a very similar setup. 5 AI pilots. 4 of which are in CRJ 700s and 1 Airbus A320 which does lucrative missions and market runs. Ive just topped 300 million so I've decided to start again with the last position of tutorial 5 :-).

Can't find the exploration mission for the life of me, nice video series though. I bought the neofly4 bundle monday and i already got 5 pilots working to buy my first CJ4. 225K from gold is just what need haha, new sub here

Not sure if you mean the doiwned plane or how to start the mission. If the latter.. Go to flight view and scroll out fully. The Purple exclamtion mark is where you need to be. If the former.. I get it.. It can be a real b*tch to find the plane sometimes. the best time to go on an exploration is when its at sea (youll need a plabe with floaters obviously.

Thanks for the video. Was trying to work out how to use AI pilots to buy/sell from marketplace, and you nailed it. I could be wrong but it seems marketplace is the best way to make money with AI pilots. Only just started with Neofly 4 so my plan is to do missions with my pilot to gain XP, and marketplace with AI to make money. If that's not the best way, who cares I'm having fun lol

My basic strategy is 'If phones, caviar, wine or whisky are available... market job.' If none of them are, then top mission job and see if not so profitable items are available to top up any weight available.

I tried to do an exploration point, but there was only 1 purple mark in the entire world, and it was in Africa. I couldn't find any close by airports either.

Great videos. When you are approaching the exploration point, what is it that you see that let’s you know you found it? I cannot see what you are seeing.

The wrecked plane basically. They come in different shapes and sizes. If you pause the video where I see say 'there it is right there' you'll see it. Much easier to spot in the water of course (floats).

You need to go to the flight page (not market) and zoom out until you see it.

Hi, It's based on your rank (increasing with XP points. You only recieve AI pilots that are at your current rank. When you prgress to say Captain, then you also get Captain AI iplots to choose from. It's not based on your certifications.

In the Neofly guide, It says "Exploration missions must be carried out in an aircraft you own (not rented aircraft) otherwise you will not get your reward." Does that mean your method is not valid anymore?

It turns out youre looking at a Neofly 3 guide. I can confirm you can indeed rent out a plane in NeoFly 4.
