Speaking of Max's posture changing, there was a detail that I noticed during a certain flash back scene in the later chapters where Max's posture reverted back to how she used to carry herself in the first game...until she faced the spoiler thing that I cannot mention and got over it. Then for the rest of the scene she stood and moved normally. That was a great bit of narrative flexing by the developers that I wonder if anyone else noticed.

so we should assume whoever killed safi is a serial killer based on what they said here? bc that throws a wrench in a lot of theories about how safi had to die to prevent something worse from happening. i ain't outright trusting what writers/devs try to get us to think but interesting to say that here. also i feel like saying that it's max's relationship w safi thats the key to solving her murder could possibly imply how purposeful it may have been for her mom to bring max to caledon in the first place
