Thanks for explaining the back story of this franchise, because I have been playing this game series on and off for years and I honestly never knew the full back story or history about it. Now that I know the story, it makes the game more appealing to me. After watch your videos, I downloaded the Samurai Showdown collection on my phone. This game is a perfect arcade port (for me at least) and such a blast to play.

You do such a wonderful job on info on Spirits, it’s great knowing people love this game as much as me. This became my favorite game the second I picked Haohmaru. I thought “this is like fighting with Ken or Ryu with a sword. The weapons factor really sealed it. I have 6 of them and still play them to this day and am impatiently waiting it’s return. I'm all for the design of Haohmaru and the fact he learns by himself, that's a cool Musashi reference, but his fighting style is not even the same. Miyamoto Musashi created the "Niten ichi ryu" style, wielding a katana on one hand and the wakizashi on the other. I wish they would have done that, or create the real Musashi and add him to the story as his own character. But anyway this is just my small nit pick. xD Great video man! Keep up the passion alive! xD And let's all embrace death in June! xD
