Very nice! A more "Nintendo way" of doing it would be to make it flash quicker and quicker when it's about to disappear, but I like the hueshift as well.

Minor nitpick, but the button stays down until the full animation is done, but when you are standing on the button, it also progresses forward. The problem this creates, is that when people are standing on the button, and they don't go instantly because of something, that they have to wait before the animation is done before they get the repress it (in order to get the full timer). This creates dead time in the gameplay. Consider making it so that you can retrigger it halfway throughout the animation (so when you get off the button, the button goes upwards), or make it so that once you go off the button, only then the animation starts (so whilst holding down on the button, the neon bridge stays cyan)

You can play Mario in the Muliverse ( MITM ) now. Not Kaze's. If I remember the credits I think he did contribute in some way. But MITM is a colab of different hackers, its an incredible hack nothing like it has ever existed before and its really polished.

In my opinion, the fact that there's no activation/appearing sound for the neon bridge just makes it feel empty.

LOVE THE VIBE OF THIS. Your neon abstract work from some of your early mods is my favorite. Maybe would be cool to do a linear abstract final hard stage like mario 3d land and galaxy have, one that tests the more extreme parts of the moveset that youve added?

I wonder if you could add some texture to those, maybe a stripe pattern or noise (multitexture?) so you get more sense of where you are, I feel like they would look like this on vainilla mario 64 but since this would be a late game in he n64 lifecycle more detail is needed like modern rainbow road on mario kart.
