It's been decades since I've seen that anime. I remember nothing except EVA and Angels and "mune no DOA" ...actually I remember names, like Rei Ayanami, Sooryu Asuka Langley, Shinji Ikari... and there was some penguin... and a number of impacts. ...but that's pretty much all I remember.

You might be surprised with how good it is on a rewatch. I remember watching it as a kid and being pretty confused by it all. About a decade later I rewatched, and noticed just how well written all the characters are. Very psychologically driven
