Neon Rainbow Soapmaking | MO River Soap

Hello everyone! I'm Holly! In this video, I'm making some fun neon rainbow soaps! These soaps were made just for fun.
The Mini Rainbow Extravaganza is coming up next! I'm working on making the extra products for the release. I am hoping to have the Mini Rainbow Extravaganza available either at the end of May or the very beginning of June. (This is not the recipe used in the video but is one that I love. Our regular line of soaps do not contain palm oil. If you you want a palm free recipe, play around with adding more butters and/or olive oil.)
30% Lye Concentration
6% Super Fat
40% Olive Oil
20% Coconut Oil
10% Palm Oil (I look for Palm that is certified by Palm Done Right)
10% Rice Bran Oil
10% Castor Oil
10% Cocoa Butter
1tsp ppo* Sodium Lactate
*Per Pound of Oil
I soap at room temperature - which means the oils and the lye solution are in the 65-75 degree range.

Idea 💡 you could pipe fluffy clouds around the base after the bunt is removed from the silicone mold. Then it would look like a double rainbow.

Glad to see you are back in the swing. Loved your energy on this one. Haha. These turned out super super cute. If your not liking the bottom of the cake slices, maybe cut those off and use them as samples. You'll still be left with a slice of rainbow bundt cake. LOVED THESE!!

I think the Bundt soap would be a great idea as a party favor, it could be black and gold for someone doing a big 50th birthday bash, pink or blue for baby shower, maybe all white with the bride's secondary colors for a rehersal party or bachelorette, I mean the ideas are endless. Sliced up with a simple individual paper ribbon and made back into a Bundt so it can be displayed at the event. Just so cute!🤗

Oh my goodness! Absolutely beautiful!! The whole time you were pouring the “icing” I was screaming “THAT’S PERFECT, HOLLY!!” 😃 I went to school for pastry and baking and just kept thinking to myself, my goodness, it really looks like a glaze you’d pour on top of a cake! Hi Holly, I love all your soaps🤩! In order to cut your cake soaps more easily, you should get a big knife with two handles which are made to cut cheese (on Amazon). I love your videos and I love that you love soaping so much🤗!!!

That pound cake style was really neat and creative. I can see why you like rainbow neons so much. They are so bright! Do you use any special additives to make your color stay vivid? I just LOVE how you get your lines so clean on your collection.

Thank you! I just really love Nurture Soap colorants. Their epic color collection is such a good one. I rarely use the amount suggested. I make sure to gel the soaps to get the best color.

Love Love Love Them❣️ The Rainbow 🌈 Bundt Bars Omgosh are AWESOME 👏🏼 I love your idea of only filling the mold to the line where the “weirdness” begins, it would be more uniform and probably much easier to un-mold. I’ve always wanted to try a bundt mold but I too can not cut straight to save my life! I know I like rectangular for the sink, but the Bundt cake mold in its irregular form is perfect for the bath tub! Its bigger so you can do your whole body with it. I love both. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
